@C3Mush thats for the info, i thought MHGU was just a port (with improved visuals?) of MHG with some more monsters added, my mistake.
i tried the demo of MHGU and i found it tedious, the small zones and constant load screens are to much for me to handle, coming from MHW on the pc as my first MH game MHGU really feels like a step back, either way it to pricey IMO.
@Razer mate i never blamed Nintendo for anything what i said was its great that we are getting ports of cool games but the prices dont warrant me buying them. eb games in Australia has MHGU listed at $99.95 which is the same price as it is listed for in the eshop, EB have diablo 3 listed for $89.95, for myself a 6 year old game (diablo 3) and a 3 year old game (MHG) dont warrant $90 and $100 respectively.
again its a 6 year old game that has a $89 aus price tag, we are getting all these games that are rather old and very expensive, MHGU is $100 aus. its great that we are getting ports of some classic old games but the prices don't warrant it for me.
i just tried the demo of MHGU and after coming from MHW this is horrid, the small zones and load times are crippling to me, and the price tag of $100 makes this a no brainer to me, ill be passing on this for sure, not only because to me its a step back, also charging so much for a port of a old game is a kick in the.........
still playing through octopath traveler, its one of my favorite games on the switch, i was a little unsure about the storylines but im enjoying them a lot, as well as loving the complexity of battles this has been a fantastic 35hrs spent so far.
im having fun with the game, im not completely sold on the stories so far but the world itself is interesting and the battles are so much fun, i can put up with a somewhat average story if the rest stays solid.
its $100 aus either at a store or in the eshop so ill passing on this game even if its amazing, $100 is greedy to the extreme, especially for a game that is technically a port from a game released 3 years ago
i think its like $20 more expensive that monster hunter world.......i cant figure that out tbh
i really enjoyed the game, but im not buying extra content for the game, i had a blast with it, took me around 90hrs to finish it doing a lot of side stuff, but i felt the game length was about perfect to step away from.
i also am dubious about this service, sure its cheaper than the other consoles but its not exactly the same type of system, it has a very small footprint for online games and i cant see that changing.
along with the NES games which i have no interest in what so ever, ill be giving this service a pass and see how i get on without it, ill happily uninstall splatoon 2 which is the only online game i have on the system.
