@Anti-Matter variants can happen, don't think wii u get one from Nintendo,but knowing them in the past, they will want to keep same dock ,joy-cons, most likely x1 custom, for them to function about the same. once your internal storage is full u buy sd card unless u are fine deleting old stuff, so i hope eshop games reflects some of what they don't need ,but you might.

i'm not asking nintendo to make v1.1 with 128gb internal storage for switch, but maybe something to help loading times for games u buy physically. i know its far to early for the half gen upgrade for specs and stuff. i think its still a but early for digital only for the masses.

another battery disappointment if 3 hours playing zelda was not bad enough til its dead for 1 full charge. i think i like might like a mid gen switch with a replaceable battery that i can do it myself for under $50 today. So much as for o its almost dead; saves game, o wait i have to charge it, not do a 5 min switch for the battery. (sarcasm) and snaps. Better go with extended warranty this time i'll need it. @thesilverbrick , Nintendo know that wii u was a failure at that time , and said we want profit, make amiibo stuff to add to the game and port it over to the switch and take your time, want it done holiday 2016, or march 2017 at deadline more or less. untill i beat it once its comes out, i'll see how many different stuff it has compared to other zelda games thats open world, if it looked rushed or waiting on amiibo production to keep up, switch production, other switch games too.

i do want botw to be great a bit more than having rest of the smash bros line.

@audiobrainiac for web browser it has not been shown off, or conformed for launch day so it would be possibility not to have one at start, there could be a chance that system update to include it on day one.

@Ps4all i'm pretty sure we will get new versions at some point, based on older hardware xp, probable not with the wii u this time from Nintendo , no real proof, just instinct. i'll say this the largely depends on units sold and games gear toward that makes money. kids might want a smaller one, adults more power as a example.

@DarkKirby hope switch does good, i do think 3ds is starting to phase out, but not quite the new 3ds, personally i got about 25 games for 3ds thats aaa, wii u for new games like 6 aaa, more of a vc purchases and eshop indies this time around.
id be okay if i got atleast 13 AAA thats new stuff for me to buy personally thats hinted at and facted, fe warriors, fe main 2018, xenoblade 2, Shin Megami Tensei, Project Octopath Traveler, zelda breath of wild, rumors of metroid teaser next year, so i'm about 50% for titles, just for maybe 2 years, alot better than wii u.

@Frosty_09 2.5 hours is kind of low, a better battery would do wonders for portable side, for when not at home to recharge.

@audiobrainiac they are atleast thinking about getting those apps, should be easy to do with ac wifi, battery life is another story for longer time away from home.

@TheBigK and @elhozzo there is always a chance for hardware revisions, which could change screen-size, maybe without a dock but much better battery life, this is based on 3ds, 2ds, 3ds xl, new 3d new 3ds xl, wii, wii mini, gameboy advanced, gameboy advanced sp, as far as nintendo does things, and i'll just bs about 4k dock for 4k tvs at 60 fps for another hardware revision, would need much better cpu, ram, and graghics cards, heat sinks, fans etc.

for me 99% as home console , when visiting others as a handle, bring a ac for power to free up the tv, its a bit too big for black friday camp overs not to say the battery life needs 4x for zelda
hoping a replacing battery is easy and not too expansive, hopefully someone will make one then maybe then it might do better as a handle. Would do fine for 1 way commutes, bring a ac to charge it at lunch or breaks if it takes longer than 1 hour and 30 mins. we don't know how long it takes to boot up at this point.

the big thing is price per month, then 3 months or 1 year if its worse than ms and sony it wil fail, which is a good thing, if they skip on penny s for a dollars, the deals would have to be like atleast 10% off , maybe up to 50% of a few games on your list if it like 60 dollars a year
lucky for me online games i expect are maybe fire emblem warriors and main one, smash bros without a doubt for the ones i will get sooner or later will not really need switch for maybe 10 months if im generous. only xenoblade 2 might come out this year, not sure on fire emblem warriors. i'll be playing new zelda on my wii u, so i don't have to worry about dust after i beat zelda on switch if i would have gotten it. well i do like game more than metroid warriors money wise, can use fe amiibo in smash, i can only hope stat gains are fixed for lvling, classing, reclassing, promoting, hope weapons don't break, if this is not going to be a turn based game, hope you don't get wrong weapon or can change depending on your class freely, might be nice if we got a town like fate, thinking gold for currency, hope fights are not one on one, most of the time. hope for easy stat increasing drops but does show limites, could do relationship bonus as well, kids too.

other than maybe smash bros and chancy fire emblem warriors not too much so far, bettter be under $60 a year with some perks.

@leo13 from my personal xp, it is great game, some fun mini there in the games, im not trying to convenience you to buy it, but if u have a computer that can run steam software u can buy it there for about $12 just throwing you some options, and they can do refunds if u have trouble, not sure if ff 7 is on ipad or iphones, or andriod.

i do hope that the rumor about sdxc is true for expandable storage up to 128gb, if they don't like usb for storage, rather not have to delete internal storage over and over for big games, and dlc, since i think storage might be 32 gb at the low end, considering the console size i would not expect a 500 gb hard drive. High end size could be 64gb or if we are a bit lucky 128gb
considering the game sizes could be 16Gb or higher for digital download. just guessing based on pricing; hope ports do add value to it than a cash grab.

@River3636 a new IP ca be good and bad, if the new ip take off , other IPs get lower priority, IP flunked, lose of money, lose of jobs, company goes under. i would welcome ideas but if its something i don't want i don't get.

i would say specs play a key role too weak is bad, getting install base early on is a key role, software release is key role, more software more hardware sells more 3rd party support,

while ps and xbox can go easy more 3 to 5 years later for new system, since their systems cycles a lot longer for hardware consoles

price factor is okay, after Zelda only a few old ports for 6 months i don't necessary need it day 1 still have them.

@River3636 Spatoon did great for how wii u sold, but im not in their target age, i tend to buy teenage and up games, hyrule warriors did great too both 3ds and wii u, fe # was not bad,
the worst console for me for total owned game wise was snes, just had like 4 games, secret of mana, link to past, super metroid, i think blastoid with super scope for single player. handheld wise gameboy color pretty much pokemon.
but the thing with new ips its usually a bit riskier unless your target group makes up a great number of units sold. like when smash bros came out it was a nice, but if u look at code steam for 3ds it was very bad that used fire emblem amiibos, i will say everyone has different tastes for games. i buy games i'm into, not to keep who ever made it to the market staying there. Nintendo trys to solve problems with mario mario and more mario, not too much at how to use the ips we own in a timely manner, soloutions hire more developers with use ips that did okay in the past. if software output is more of the problem try to get more exclusive games does not have to use any of your own ips.

@River3636 Xenoblade Chronicles sequel even would be nice, ff was not the metroid we wanted, other m had some moments, i think ff was just a rushed job just for something so we did not forgot about it, not really time stoper, if they stop trying too many experiments or bad judgement calls on it; it could be okay, zero mission and metroid fusion was okay 2d, primes great, id give them 1 more time with samus as a playable char in a prime game, i think a metroid warrior one would be okay just for rise of for metroid awareness . Prime game has to be 1st party only with help from select 2nd party to change its image. for halo like, recore was decent as far as i saw it.
i used final fantasy as a joke one, but if it does get wii like units sold theres atleast a 1% chance that we might get a title. nintendo has to be more flexible when choosing their target audience, spin off are turn off if its been way to long, how good are the development teams that are trying something similar to that audience and expect it to work, spin off are okay if we have a good idea that theirs really ones coming to that system, if they really can't manage it , they should look to sell the ip, as long as they get all games for their systems too. id even say a 2d metroid maker might be okay ,i know its not that original, it could shake things up in a better way, vr metroid would be nice . Nintendo needs to figure out what happened and how to fix it next time and not break whats not broken.

now the one that has a bit more of a chance metroid warriors; a space anonymity happened space time continuum that brought all of the characters together at planet (Nintendo xyz) to battle for resources, battle bases, ships, research labs, and a way to stop the anonymity to restore all living beings, places, things, and time as they should be.
Instead of using melee weapons as primary weapons, u simple: shot, dodge, charge up shot for more damage, missile attacks, maybe ship attacks for pin down attacks, events kill the metroids in time, kill omega metroid b4 it gets too strong, stop space pirates from supply run, save the weak fed trooper from space pirates,etc, Playable characters Samus suited, zero suit samus elite space pirate, Mother Brain standing on 2 legs, ridley, metal ridley fed trooper, bounty hunters, Dark samus, SA-X, chrozo ghosts, chrozo statues, hachling metroid full size, other mini boss, or boss that can have move and other strong allies or helpers with dealing with current threat with the various games to advance the plot or goal.

For me this time after getting burned from Wii U bought it close after launch I'll might wait for some games to come out b4 getting the system. Only got like 9 games AAA total, half old vc and 15 eshop games non retail disc , if the wii u gotten even a spin off metroid i would not feel so burned, i don't blame 3rd party's this time, id say price and lack of ads ruined it and like no prices drops every few years, like smash bros enhanced port, xenoblade chonicles x enhanced port, new fire emblem, maybe what's Monolith soft and retro is developing respectfully, real metroid game, depending on the warriors game using Nintendo IP, not sure on Zelda botw system to use, if there's a bundle or limited bundle with Zelda I'd most likely Pre-order it if it's a good deal.it The price matters most i think this time, if its really 250 retail for basic one it has huge chance for wii numbers i take retail price with tons of salt, also wonders how many Confirmed games at launch out of those 17 i hope at-least 1/3 at launch.

@rjejr I think Nintendo did not really try to sell Wii U last holiday and no price drops , seams Nintendo being Nintendo , trying to not look like Wii U at all, all the retailers will most likely but rushed to get who preorders done in time and I'm willing to say it will be understocked if price info is right, preorders should have been done about 3 months ago with details of there's more than 1 sku and at least 1 party games listed for launch or close to launch date. It's not cool for them to make everyone hurry up when gearing up for launch. Keep getting in mind if there PR works they will do this next time but I think price is the bigger factor this time 250 is great compared to Wii U 350 launch price id like them to do more info around 6 months b4 it comes out .
