Re: Tappingo 2 Close to European Release

No, not a chance. I can't remember what I paid for the first one, could have been around 3€ as well, but even that was too much. Even the hardest puzzles present no challenge, and the concept got old after I did 2 of them.

Re: Famitsu Reveals Some Fresh Details on Fire Emblem If

I enjoyed awakening, but only because I wasn't comparing it to previous Fire emblems. After Finishing awakening I went back and started playing both the GBA one and the Wii one, and started realizing how much less I had been using actual strategy while playing awakening.

I don't mind this Phoenix mode nonsense ( though if they ever drop classic mode, count me out ) but infinite weapon use? come on!

I really hope there will be a game mode left that has some kind of challenge.

Also, this whole dual release nonsense I dislike greatly. If I were to get this game I'd get the full package with all three story lines or nothing. Of course if the price comes down anywhere near the japanese prices for that then I guess Fire emblem has lost a player.

I still have to finish the last few of the extra levels in regular ol' Pullblox, and I haven't even started Fallblox yet... I wouldn't mind getting this if I end up ever finishing both of these.

What mainly worries me is that there is no clear way for this to end up on sale, as I like to pick up the games that I don't reeeally want on sale, but I would definitley get the full package or nothing at all...

And yes, I know it's not very expensive to begin with but it's more about the principal of the thing.

Re: New Safari Event Now Live In Pokémon Shuffle

Your best bet is to get your strongest bug pokémon together as both the dark and grass pokémon are weak to those. Once you've caught either both the grass or both the dark pokémon (as well as the normal) maybe pick a dark or grass pokémon, choose optimise and use that team. It means you may not beat the ones that you already got, but meh.

From the 25 lives I've spent on it, 1 was sharphedo, 1 was cherrim, spinda 6, cherubi 7 and carvanha 10, so I guess if you encounter the sharphedo or cherrim, you may want to consider spending coins on great balls. Maybe spend your lives grinding meowth for coins until you have at least 7500 saved up (I've never seen it let me use more than 3 great balls in one run) and try. If you fail to catch it, go back and grind more coins first. It's probably faster than spending all your lives trying to catch it.

EDIT: I also have not spent a penny, and all I am missing is Cherrim from this event.
EDIT2: now I have everything in the game so far.

Yeah, I hate it when they pull that kind of reverse learning on you, though. Effectively "teach" you a rule, and then break that rule, punishing people who paid attention to the patterns.

EDIT: To the people wondering if their rankings will see them though. If last time is any indication in PAL, we'll have between 100 000 and 125 000 scores. If the amount of players is on the heavy side, the top 10 000 players = the top 8%. Now again, based on last time, your percentile will drop a little bit over time, so to be safe you probably want to be in the top 5%. If you're below the top 10% right now, you're probably going to be knocked out of the 10 000.

I think NA had around 2x the players PAL had last time around (which explains the adjustment this time) so your percentages for NA are probably the same.

Another thing that's helped me a LOT is Homepass. In the past week I've used it to amass over 1000 streetpasses, which means another 90 lives and 10 jewels.
As we all know 12 jewels = 46000 coins, or 5 comp-1s and change. So if you have a computer around with both a wired and wireless connection, I'd say google Homepass and start raking in those streetpasses.

@Sanicranfast

As a matter of fact by the end we (europe) had 110 000ish players in the lucarionite competition. Lucklily I paced 4000something so I have mine. I just placed 42/30 000 something in this one, so this score may carry me to the end of the competition (though I did pay for a complexity -1 to get that score)

Also to those going on about blaziken: if you just grind coins on the meowth level, you can beat/ S-rank any level by using power ups.
