Re: First Impressions: Calling

Hmmm. Reminds me of Fatal Frame. Looks interesting, but I'm not digging the quick-time events (Press BUTTON now or fail) or excessive waggling for ghost escaping. Good sound design is essential though, I'm glad that is shaping up nicely.

Re: BBC Interested In Games Again

I saw Top Gear and got excited because I immediately thought they meant the awesome SNES game. Sadly, they meant the crappy BBC show. Doctor Who is awesome though.

Re: DSi XL to Hit Europe on March 5th

I never bought a DS or DSi and I still have my GBA if I wanted to dig it out of storage so I'm probably going to purchase the XL. Still up in the air about the first game I'll purchase for it though.

Re: Review: Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (Nintendo 64)

I remember beating this game 100% and collecting all the challenge points on each difficulty level. Once you get used to the control, it's not so hard to navigate. The jetpack also made navigating easier in certain levels. The Slave One fight was pretty annoying though. I would have given it an 8, the ship levels alone are worth it.

I never got to play Evermore since my friend only had Secret of Mana for his SNES and I played that instead. Looks good though. Hope it comes out... but after the Soul Blazer trilogy . I want those three games more.

The Legend of Zelda: Grand Theft Hyrule
or
The Legend of Zelda: No More Zoras
Lol, j/k.
Personally I'd rather not have a first-person adventure game or have Link "level up" in any way, shape, or form using tired RPG elements. The Elder Scrolls series has had that formula down pat for some time now. Many Nintendo franchises usually begin in or end up in space so I'm betting on "The Legend of Zelda: We're Running Out of Ideas so Hyrule is in Space."
