@ACK You're totally right, I'm sure it's a data corruption issue, but it should display a message like most games do that say something like "saving do not turn off the power." It definitely did not have any message saying that when I turned off the console. And I did attempt to delete the data before restoring, but I get the same memory error when trying to delete it. It's just poor design if one corrupt save file prevents you from restoring the system.

@TheGreatBrawler I would assume it's still possible but I'm not entirely sure.

@Yorumi Exactly. The console should not have broke when I tried to factory restore, no matter what caused it.

@TheGreatBrawler It's definitely not only when you play for glory. I never played for glory and I had the issue.

@ACK I had this issue every time a booted the game. I was not using a flash drive, and I don't believe there was any error on my part. The second time I started the game I got the error. I was using a disc copy. I attempted to factory reset my Wii U, and it crashed during the process, and would not boot after.

This is axectly the kind of game I've been wanting for Dsiware, its perfect for short bursts of gameplay.

I just got this game, so far its pretty good, but Im not sure I aggree with the score. Its definitely better than FF3 but I think its more of an 8.0 or an 8.5 rather than a 9.0.

I wonder if this will come out in the US. I kinda doubt it beacause they can just charge us more for the retail version.

I already have this on Namco Museum DS, i got the game for $20 and includes this, Pacman, Mappy, and like 5 other arcade games.
