@Clyde_Radcliffe I would say so yeah - similar to Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess in a few different ways, with a few refreshing additions to the series that weren't in those games (it's also quite a bit more linear though than those games which for some people makes it a far worse game). In SS there's a clear hub world and three distinct areas with nowhere near the level of exploration in BotW, so I would say you might really enjoy SS!
This is really disheartening on Nintendo’s part but I do wonder if they’re waiting for Mario’s 35th anniversary to be wrapped up at the end of March before they do anything for Zelda.
@LUIGITORNADO Isn't that the bit where you sail the sand sea and go to Skipper's house and ride a mine cart though? Love that bit (and probably most of the so-called 'filler' in this game lol)!
I don't like this article's reference to Ghirahim as a "queer-coded villain" - he's flamboyant, sure, but such a trait is often used as a negative stereotype for gay men. Absolutely nothing is established in regards to his sexuality, as has been the case with every Zelda villain. My point being flamboyant does not equal "queer" (still a slur for many including myself hence the speech marks) as this article seems to infer.
Super happy about this - one of my favourite Zelda games - but...did anyone else also fail to see anything remotely High Definition in the footage we saw lol??
@durr it’s a pretty nasty trait of your character that even if you were correct in that blacks, for example, were over represented in video games, that this annoys you to the extent that it clearly does. I think you’re on a slippery slope to exhibiting more insidious behaviour and radicalisation. Do you have this same level of outrage when you see overt racism displayed from white people against blacks in the streets? I suspect not..
@durr I think it would depend on the context and situation. If, like I said, a character’s race wasn’t integral to the plot or the themes being explored, then I don’t think it’s worth severe backlash. That being said white people are hardly underrepresented in the media compared to other ethnic groups so personally I could understand and sympathise with a degree of pushback from non-whites.
I would argue that where someone’s race isn’t integral to their character (ie Resident Evil isn’t about race relations in the Deep South - it’s about zombies!) then it doesn’t really matter if the race of the actors/actresses is different to those of the characters in the source material.
Nearly every match I've played has been Star vs Star unfortunately - takes the fun out of it really!
Also, by far and away the biggest sin this game commits is not making the shifty station stages available outside of Splatfests (in terms of them being in the online rotation, I know they're available for LAN multiplayer) - they're usually some of the most fun stages to play on.

Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Have "Various Quality-Of-Life Enhancements", Nintendo Says
@Karst this is the change that I want the most - by far my biggest issue with the original haha

It’s the best Zelda game

Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now
@BenAV true but that was 2 years ago - I think it’s reasonable to expect at the very least a passing remark on its development at this point.
Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now
Much better to get this sort of thing rather than radio silence. More of this please Nintendo for your other franchises - namely Metroid.

Re: Random: Sakurai Reminds Smash Fans That His Tweets Don't Contain Nintendo Direct Hints
I’ll never understand how people can find a new smash character anything more than mildly interesting lol

Re: Nintendo Of America Job Listing Offers Hope That Nintendo Directs Aren't Dead After All
I think if we don’t see a direct by June for E3 we can safely assume Nintendo are done with them for good.

@JohnnyC congrats on making the best and most intelligent comment on this hellhole of a thread.
