Just picked up my copy of Octopath. Sat having a beer in a pub garden waiting for my wife to finish emptying our bank balance on the high street. Life is good
@RealDanStrauss yeah I gave XC2 a good go too, but one day just hit a wall and I can't see me ever playing it again. The combat is crap and it has the worst map/navigation I've ever seen in a game.
@peterstillman Nice comment. Nintendo developed and released a creative, new product. Peter bought it, he and his kids had great fun building it and playing with it. Job done
Why all the rage? Calm down people, this product's clearly not for everybody - but that's fine.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Four-Game Switch Analysis
As somebody who enjoys tech talk and struggles to play games with poor performance, I love DF's work! Long may it continue.
Re: Partner Up In Bleep Bloop, A Cute Co-Op Puzzler Coming To Switch This Month
@CharlieSmile nope, just got one.
Re: Partner Up In Bleep Bloop, A Cute Co-Op Puzzler Coming To Switch This Month
@CharlieSmile but there's no character creation mate. Maybe I don't identify as a bleep, or for that matter, a bloop.
I await your response.
Re: Review: YIIK: A Postmodern RPG - EarthBound For A New Generation
Scratch that, just realised the lead character IS Gimli's hairy dwarven nutsack. Crisis averted.
Re: Review: YIIK: A Postmodern RPG - EarthBound For A New Generation
Just bought this and I'm absolutely fuming that it won't let me play as Gimli's hairy dwarven nutsack. IT'S 2019, GODDAMIT.
Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Is Now Nintendo's Fastest-Selling Home Console Game Of All Time In Europe

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 1st)
Dead Cells, whilst relaxing on holiday in wonderful, sunny Cornwall! Time to fall in love with gaming all over again.
Re: Review: Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition (Switch eShop)
@Sadiki thank you. I'll get both! Just bought Dead Cells for my holiday, and will get this next week. Sounds amazing.

@NimrodsSon thanks, sounds fantastic
Re: Review: Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition (Switch eShop)
I've never played this and want to pick up either this or Dead Cells. Wish should I go for?!

Re: Nintendo Is Considering A Successor To The 3DS According To Its New President
@N64SNESU I use it as a commuting handheld all of the time and it is fantastic as such. Your comments are odd.
Re: Review: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
@RealDanStrauss yeah I gave XC2 a good go too, but one day just hit a wall and I can't see me ever playing it again. The combat is crap and it has the worst map/navigation I've ever seen in a game.
Hopefully this is better.
