They bowed to pandemic woes and are paying the price instead of finding a better creative way to continue doing it. Everybody sees Apple doing these amazing shows, why should they all have to rely on each other being at the same show to do the same?

Why do people continue to buy these every year? And who is buying these, with every single person instructing them to stay away? It's clear that EA doesn't care about the Switch, and they continue to release crippled versions that are no different from each other. Do people really want a $60 roster update every year? Is that it?

@Meteoroid Well, I'll say this: I'm not the one who plays it. My son has a propensity for recreating real-world stuff, and those all work great. It's when he decides that the bottom of a rocket needs over 50 engines and then he crashes it into a building... That's a lot of explosions to calculate. I don't blame the Series X by any means, but I couldn't imagine doing that on a Switch. I would expect it to overheat and reboot or something...

Nintendo is seriously missing the mark for opportunity with Christmas shoppers... None of these games even warrants a mention when held to the incredible titles that are now out (or coming out in about a week) for PS and Xbox. Will Nintendo get lost in the shuffle this winter? The best thing they have going for them is... a 2d Metroid platformer? (I get it: it's incredible. But it's sad that this is all they have.)

Controls, controls, controls. I've tried, but really struggle to get behind games that did the controls... well, wrong. They're just wrong. It's like they were thinking "Nobody likes that dual joystick stuff, so let's go with the driving-an-RC-car feel instead." It feels like you're on rails, and it's just wrong.

Every. Single. One. of these remakes/remasters/re-releases needs to fix the controls. That goes for the rumored Metroid Prime remaster, also!!

Can somebody please play the song backwards and see if it says anything noticeable? I wouldn't be surprised if the backwards song is a hint at gameplay... Maybe music related, maybe time-shifting... I gotta say, though, I'm not psyched on how dark it looks; it's going to be difficult to let the kids play it. (Unless it doesn't get released until they're teenagers, which is possible, knowing Nintendo!)
