Descending using the sailcloth? Some stretch considering it was basically the Deku Leaf from Wind Waker with less functionality. Even upgrading gear was in the 2D games... I love Skyward Sword but they're definitely being disingenuous with comments like these.
I'd imagine the real figure is much higher, as digital sales back then weren't what they are these days, particularly with the current situation in the world. But Nintendo doesn't share that info so we'll never know for sure 🤔
@Dezzy70 I personally wouldn't agree with the dragging the heels statement. It's well known that Nintendo play cards close to their chest, we didn't even know Paper Mario existed a few weeks ago and it's almost on shelves already. I love a bit of hype myself but it can definitely go too far the other way, The Last of Us Part II was announced and shown off years ago and only just came out. I'm did indeed love playing it, but a lot of excitement had worn off by the time it launched due to overexposure.
@Dezzy70 the first Last of Us came out 7 years ago, they're hardly banging them out every 5 minutes 😂 and a game not being 4K HDR doesn't suddenly mean it takes "half the work" to make either.
@Crono1973 even I can't believe it? You know me very well do you? I believe people can talk about games they'd love to see on ANY platform they like and it's not up to you to police them on it, look at the rest of the comments here and you'll see you're in the vast minority. Talking about games you'd love to see ported just enhances the excitement of having the system, until morons come along and try to tell people what they can and can't get excited about.
@PikaPhantom as far as I know it's because it would be possible to get stuck if you do the rooms in a certain order, without that extra key. Always bothered me too haha!
@Crono1973 honestly why do you care? Expressing want for a game on your system of choice has been around for a long time, I don't get why it's suddenly an issue for Switch. He didn't direct his want at an official Nintendo channel either, so it doesn't really qualify as a request = NOT port begging
