I'd love some info on the Virtual Console (assuming there even is one coming), but don't expect it. So far its absence has been my only disappointment with the Switch, which I really love. VC was/is one of the best parts of owning a 3DS – I've turned mine into a genuinely fantastic little retro machine.
@Kolzig my bad, sorry man, thought I was going to make your day! I thought I had Cave Story 3D but the screenshots don't look like the game I was playing, it was 2D but, if memory serves, had the stereoscopic 3D effect applied.
@Kolzig that's weird, I bought Cave Story 3D in the Europe EShop years ago - you sure it's not there? I don't think I'm mistaken as I've never played the DSiWare version, to my knowledge.
Would be good to know which territories the physical release will be available for on June 20th (assuming its just the USA?). I've completed it only recently on my 3DS but would consider repurchasing for a physical copy here in Europe.
I'm super happy with my purchase so far and as someone who skipped the Wii U, hoping for a few more ports. Especially looking forward to Skyrim, Mario Kart Deluxe, etc.
I just really want Virtual Console now and would love a few more big third party releases to be confirmed.
I know its a big ask, but I think if they can really hit Mario Odyssey out the park, like it's a huge Zelda-level success, then it'll shift crazy numbers for Christmas.
@khululy "am sticking to a point and the point is that what JT stated was not wrong, just because you disagree with it. "
That's the thing though, these kind of views are wrong. Not because I disagree with them, but because they are actually demonstrably wrong, in addition to being stupid, ill-informed and divisive.
The earth isn't flat, non-whites aren't inferior to white people, and Hitler wasn't socialist. Vaccines aren't giving people autism and global warming is real.
@khululy Hitler wasn't a socialist any more than North Korea is democratic (its official name is Democratic People's Republic of Korea btw). Dictators have a funny habit of claiming to be something they are not.
If you're going to believe in this stuff, at least do your reading.
The idea behind the Nazi's professed "socialism" was to take away votes from the communist and socialist parties in Germany who were doing quite well at the time so that voters could think "oh we can vote for Hitler because he'll give us those socialist reforms but with a new invigorated Germany."
It was soon dropped and the very few in the party with genuine socialist tendencies were murdered by Hitler's inner cronies during the night of the long knives.
It really brings it home to me how big a problem the gaming community has with racism when even an article on this website brings out the neo-nazi types, terribly sad
@DarthNocturnal Yeah, I've sunk about 100 hours into that game already, love it! I was kind of hoping for some sliver of the same experience from this when I bought it but alas, it's terrible

Re: A New Patch Is Available for Breath of the Wild on Switch
As already mentioned, there's a definite framerate improvement in a certain forest section that suffered the worst slowdown in the game IMO...

@khululy if you're well aware its untrue, then why spout such nonsense?

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet
Definitely a plastic screen? Because other websites I've seen, including USGamer, suggest it's glass

Yeah I'll probably buy these games just because of this interview, they came across as great guys and I always like to support developers like that.
