Re: Talking Point: The NES Games You Want on 3DS Virtual Console

WolfRamHeart

@Kid_Crono: You mention that these games are free but when you think about it they really aren't. The early adopters already paid for them. Nintendo lowering the price of the 3DS is an admission by them that they made a mistake by overpricing the console to begin with. This gesture of "free" games is their way of apologizing to their fans by compensating them for dropping the price significantly only a few months after the system launched. This is a gesture of goodwill to avoid a backlash of angry complaints and trying to keep their customers happy. I personally think that this is a good deal but I can understand why some people are still not completely satisfied with it. People have the right to voice their opinions, it is their money after all.

Re: Iwata Shoulders Blame for Low 3DS Sales, Cuts Salary in Half

WolfRamHeart

@Kirk: The thing is that Nintendo wasn't satisfying it's fans and that is why this happened. They got cocky and made some really bad decisions so now they are paying for it. I think that they needed this wake-up call. At least now they are taking steps to make things right. I just hope that they will learn from their mistakes and turn the company around.

Re: FAQ: Nintendo Ambassador Program and Free eShop Games

WolfRamHeart

I'm kinda tempted to go out and buy a 3DS right now so I can get those free games but considering that I own most of those games already I would rather stick with the $80 discount. Plus, I'm pretty sure that those GBA games are going to be made available to the public eventually. I don't mind waiting.

Re: 3DS Drops to $169.99 from 12th August

WolfRamHeart

@Aviator: Yeah, sorry about that. I actually missed that part of the article about the free games. I'm glad that Nintendo is doing something really cool to compensate the early adopters. Personally, I am more happy with the $80 savings but that is just me.

Re: Amazon Suspends 3DS Sales

WolfRamHeart

@43: Actually, the loose hinges are not normal. The first 3DS system that I owned did not have a loose hinge. I had to send it in to Nintendo for repairs due to another problem. Nintendo shipped me another 3DS system but the hinge on that one was extremely loose. That was the last straw for me and thus I returned my 3DS to the store. I'm interested in picking up another system one day, I just hope that Nintendo will sort out these defects.

Re: Nudge Nudge, Marvel Pinball Rolls Towards Wii U and 3DS

WolfRamHeart

I totally agree with Slapshot, Marvel Pinball and the Zen Pinball games are awesome! I actually own this game on both my Xbox 360 and PS3. The tables are incredibly well designed and lots of fun. Normally, I am not much of a pinball fan but this game won me over. I don't think that I will be buying this game again when it finally hits the Wii U and 3DS but I am glad that Nintendo fans will finally get the chance to experience this great game.

Re: Feature: The State of WiiWare

WolfRamHeart

WiiWare had a few really good games but ultimately the service was a huge letdown. There were just more things wrong with it than right. Nintendo really should take a page out of Microsoft and Sony's book to create a better online service for the Wii U.

Re: La-Mulana DLC Announced

WolfRamHeart

So, the FULL game is really 1500 points. I hate when content that is supposed to be included in a game is withheld just so a company can rip-off their customers. Just release the whole game at 1500 points and be done with it instead of trying to fool people into thinking that this DLC is extra content.

Re: Mega Man Legends 3 Cancelled

WolfRamHeart

This probably has more to do with the 3DS not selling as well as expected. Capcom may be hesitant to support the 3DS at this time until the system becomes more successful. I wouldn't be too surprised if there are more game cancelations from other 3rd party developers in the near future. Whether you were looking forward to this game or not, this is a major blow to the 3DS. I just hope that this is not a sign of ominous things to come.

Re: Crush 3D "Delayed Due to Success of 3DS"

WolfRamHeart

So, if they released this game earlier and it doesn't sell then they will blame it on not enough people owning a 3DS but if they release it later and nobody buys it they will blame it on the fact that there are too many high profile games to compete against thus leaving it overlooked. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
