Re: Review: Potion Permit - A Great-Looking Life Sim That Eschews Both Farmwork And Challenge

Been loving this game so far but there are a couple concerns some may want to keep in mind:

There are some bugs that need to be patched and the font is SUPER small especially when in handheld mode on Switch, to the point where some have raised some accessibility concerns with the devs. Otherwise really fun game. The romance options are a little lacking imo but that's just me being nitpicky.

@steventonysmith Same, PoOT was super disappointing. I'm assuming A Wonderful Life will probably get the same treatment that FoMT got, that being an almost 1:1 HD remake with some added NPCs, which is fine by me because it's already a pretty good game imo. It looks like there will be some added festivals/events by the looks of the trailer, at least I hope so since that was one of the areas where I think the original was lacking.

If I remember correctly they registered Baten Kaitos for a trademark a couple years back. 🤔 Maybe that's wishful thinking though lol. Those games would fit right in on the Switch lineup, I'd love to see a twofer like they did with FF X and X-2 HD. I'd pay a ridiculous amount of money for an HD remaster, goofy voice acting and all lmao.

I used to prefer subs over dubs, but as I get older I have pretty frequent migraines so dubs can be really handy especially when some Switch games have super tiny text even when playing docked. I ended up struggling through Ryza because of this and having to read everything. It's always nice to have the option for people with vision or other issues. There are those with worse vision issues than me and these things aren't always a preference for 'which language sounds better' but more of an accessibility thing for some.

I can't recommend Attack of the Friday Monsters enough. Level-5's world design team is next level (ha) and that game firmly cemented them as one of my favorite developers. I would absolutely love to see an HD release of this someday just to be able to play it on a bigger screen with surround sound, although I'm sure that's pretty far fetched.
