I’m having trouble with my quicksilver missions though. They aren’t showing up at the kiosk in the anomaly. I only own No Man’s Sky on my switch, and The only reason I know No Man’s Sky is because I wondered what it was. Thankfully one of my friends had it on Xbox and here I am. So, am I doing anything wrong? Is there something I need to do before I get the quicksilver missions?
@Dr_G_Lemaitre You know i was just going to talk about that when i saw your comment. of course, i don't think mine would have been as long. someone got close mentioning how the in-game cartridge may be detaching, but actually it's a lot sadder than that. your cartridge is in tack. Anyone who knows what a Solid-State Drive is (SSD) understands that they don't last forever. The biggest reason being that any kind of flash memory requires there to be power connected constantly. So, inside an SSD you have a battery. Now this does not apply to all games, because not all games store your information this way. For example, all Pokémon games save data is stored in the cartridge. You can prove this by sticking your Pokémon game in someone else's DS system. Your save data will pop up. I myself have tested this considering how many systems I have owned, and Gameboy advance was one of my personal favorites. the first 3DS system i ever owned was actually a 2DS, that unfortunately had its battery explode. anyways because your ds cartridges have batteries in them, if you don't play that game enough, the battery dies, and you lose all your storage. Not only that, but remember what is said about my 2DS battery exploding? That can happen to the cartridge too. only problem is, the 2DS doesn't have enough room for your battery to explode so the back is going to pop out, your game cartridge does have enough room for it to explode. So, you won't know till you put it in. Also, you will be able to tell the difference between the battery dying and the battery exploding, because one will boot the game without your save data (battery died) and the other won't recognize the cartridges presence (battery exploded). er- mostly, it may tell you it doesn't recognize the game. If it tells you, it doesn't recognize the game, don't worry (to an extant) you have the chips in the back. Take a look because they might just be damaged.
P.S. when you say a battery exploded, it has a couple of meanings, i mean essentially, its guts get poured out
P.P.S. Remember what i said about it not going to be long? Guess i lied.
When people take the cartridge out when it’s playing the game it makes me so nervous. Sure he turned it off, but it didn’t even turn off all the way before he took it out put the next one in and turned it on, He did it in less than two seconds. 😬😬😬
@superderper yes, yes they did, but it may get dust and gunk out, but it also damaged the hardware of the game... so, most people just kept to modern day cartridges because you don’t have to blow on it.
Haha, beautiful way to play, but I still prefer my hands. Also people who don’t believe this is a dungeon, riddle me this. If you treat every shrine as a separate room with mini bosses (blight Ganons) and ending in a final boss (Calamity Ganon), would that seem like a dungeon to you? By all dungeons he did all the shrines and Devine beasts. In fact some consider the Devine beasts as dungeons. Sure it doesn’t follow the classical dungeons we have seen in past Zelda games, but the way you perform each shrine could be compared to a dongeon.
Lots of people want games like these, I just wanna see them build a new tv show about smash or every smash character, like shorts. I do watch Disney + a lot so thats were I mostly see artwork like that so a whole bunch of shorts dedicated to smash characters and smash itself would be awesome
So I read like an 8th of the comments and I’m noticing 3-D more often at the top. It might get better going lower but one comment I realized was true. @TheWingedAvenger said: “ There are more 2D games than there are 3D games, so Nintendo should focus more on 3D Zelda games in the next few years.”. Well if Nintendo is going to focus on this through the polls, then we may not have more 2-D, Because since there are more 2-D games then 3-D, that means it like the electoral college in a presidential vote but there instead of 50 states there’s 2, and 3-D has a small population, so they got better points. It’s like they are setting up 2-D to fail
If within 50 years of making only 2-D remakes and new 3-D though, people won’t enjoy the 2-D because they’re everywhere. So if Nintendo still wants to make 2-D games but just in the form of remakes, they will eventually lose money from making useless copy’s that nobody will want. If they are going to continue with 2-D games (they probably will), if I was Nintendo I would make another remake, make another 2-D game, make a sequel, make 2 more 2-D games and repeat; but they will probably morph out of it eventually
@Dragonslacker1 makes a good point on no horses in 2-D. With that I am probably leaning more on 3-D. me being a major guardian slayer in botw, They for some reason tend to kill the horses I’ve gotten attached, too. Thank goodness for the horse god! (But I keep running out of carrots)
Honestly if it was a game like ocarina of time, I’m not sure I would like it that much. I got stressed out playing both majora’s mask and ocarina of time and I never really finished wind waker (never could get past the ghost ship, or rather even get on it). But if it’s a game like BOTW (looking forward to the sequel too)or skyward sword, big yes. But the only 2d games I’ve loved in the Zelda series were link to the past, link between worlds (are those two that much different though?) and links awakening. I liked between worlds because of its gameplay, link to the past wasn’t much different, and link’s awakening’s toy like graphics (again, the switch version, not the old one) was amazing. So it really depends on what they will do.

But yes @MeloMan, I agree with that. Although I may want more 3-D that doesn’t mean I don’t want 2 D to stop, even in the form of remakes.
