@Grumblevolcano Zelda U will not be Wii U exclusive, give it up already. Nintendo also said they'd support GameCube once the Wii was announced. That system died faster than a fish out of water and had sold double what the Wii U is at.
Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis needed another 6-8 months of development before they were borderline playable. They rushed them out only with the hopes of suckering people into making an impulse holiday purchase. It's blatantly obvious with Mario Tennis considering the game isn't out in Japan yet, they knew it wasn't worth the price and was going to get killed by the press. Hopefully they release an update patch when it releases in Japan that adds new characters and courts, etc.
No one with any common sense whatsoever expected the New 3DS to utilize the hardware upgrade. Nintendo has been pulling tricks like this since the 90s.
Power is irrelevant. Wii wasn't nearly as powerful as 360/PS3 and did fine. The average consumer doesn't understand nor do they care.
The only people who care about power are message board trolls or own a PC capable of running every title at 1080/60. Console warriors talking about power is the most ridiculous thing I ever see on the internet, considering console ownership proves specs mean nothing to you.
Hopefully they port this over to the 3DS where it will actually move units. Really unfortunate that this game is coming out so late in the WiiU's life cycle. If this was a title at launch or within the first 18 months or so, it could had altered the systems future.
Unfortunately Nintendo release this console to fail.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Now Battles for Our Time, Not Just Loyalty
@The_Dude_Abides If the NX is the hybrid console/handheld everyone expects, your point isn't valid. It will be pull the handheld users as well.

Re: Feature: Why We're Still Playing... Metroid Fusion
Metroid not having a Wii U game is an absolute debacle.
Re: Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima Has Published a New Message for Shareholders and Investors
Nice to see them looking forward to the NX. Pretty glaring that he didn't mention the Wii U or 3DS once. Nintendo is looking towards the future.

Without a doubt the best president in video games history.
Re: Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei Dated For a 19th April Release in the West
This game has absolutely nothing on Fire Emblem. If you go into it with any expectations you'll be disappointed.
Re: Evergreen Nintendo Releases Hang Tough in the UK as Xenoblade Chronicles X Tumbles Out of Top 40
Niche game for a niche system, these numbers aren't surprising. Xenoblade deserves so much better considering it's a fantastic game and series.
Re: Nintendo Life Weekly: Final Smash Bros. Direct, Minecraft on Wii U and More
@Azikira With the NX just on the horizon, this looks to be it. Sakurai and Co. are going to begin planning the next iteration of the Smash franchise.
