Wow umm... this is pretty depressing for a longtime subscriber like me. Despite what I've been thinking about their quality declining ever since the internet finally came to full fruition, this loss still makes me very sad, as I always used to, and still enjoy, getting new issues in the mail.
Probably guessing issue 300 will be their last, but it'd better go out with a bang as promised.
I want to both laugh and cry. Laugh, because you guys are getting a game that we've been enjoying for over 5 months already. Cry, because it has both English and Japanese in it.
Meh, it basically just feels like a mini-version of Power Tennis based on what I've played, without the power shots, charm, or anything that would hold my interest. It just feels and looks rushed imo.
Ah, the Wii launch. Back when I was excited to wait in line for 20 minutes in the freezing February 2007 cold in front of a Target just to play some crappy baseball and boxing, having to wait another year until the only reason to own the system, Brawl, came out.
It kind of annoys me at how overrated WayForward really is, whenever they're making a new game everyone thinks it's going to be perfect just 'cause their names are on it.
Actually, I found that the emphasis on picking up things in NSMBWii was a pretty big throwback to SMB2.
But the reason the game doesn't get the sequel attention it deserves: it's somehow the most "hated" Mario game by the vocal minority, and now everyone hates this game for some reason.
Personally, I would love to see a game like this, considering Super Mario Advance was the first Mario game I ever played.
Actually, to what I've seen, most 3rd Party developers have the 3D down better than Nintendo. Such games as Resident Evil Revelations actually impress me much better than certain other first party stuff, such as the sucktacular 3D in Mario Kart 7.
Cars that can transform for sea and air? Hmm, sound completely original.
... Just kidding, I'm actually pretty excited for this. All-Stars Racing was a fine game, but it just felt... bland. These two things will hopefully make it a bit more exciting.

Which I totally agree with.

Re: Club Nintendo's Gold and Platinum Prizes Have Emerged

Sandbag confirmed as a new character.
Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Focused on Fun, Not Competition

But Sakurai, the world's gonna end before that happens!!11!!
Re: Shantae eShop Release Gets Closer
Yawn.
Risky's Revenge was absolutely boring and repetitive to play, so I doubt I'll even try to give this one a go.

Nintendrawer... sounds pretty awesome to me.
Re: Review: Mario Tennis Open (3DS)

Out of all the Sonic games that could be released, why this.

Will download. These games have some of, if not the best, OSTs out there.
Re: Feature: Staff Memories of the Wii Launch
Everyone guys, hold the phone, end my life

Dark times, it was.
Re: These Are the UK's Biggest Selling Virtual Console Games
It's because people are morons and feel obligated to buy Pac-Man on every single system known to man for some reason.
Re: Adventure Time on DS to be Released 'Late Fall'
It kind of annoys me at how overrated WayForward really is, whenever they're making a new game everyone thinks it's going to be perfect just 'cause their names are on it.

Cars that can transform for sea and air?

Just kidding, I'm actually pretty excited for this. All-Stars Racing was a fine game, but it just felt... bland. These two things will hopefully make it a bit more exciting.
Re: Nintendo Posts First Annual Loss in 30 Years
Well, as I'll say again:
Looks like Mr. Iwata can't afford that extra limousine this year.
Re: Sakurai: Smash Bros. to 'Change Direction a Little' on Wii U and 3DS
This can only mean one thing:
More speculation and more doubt by the fanbase.
Re: Europe, What Do You Make Of Your Beat the Beat Box Art?
Wow, sick boxart. I like the girl's pose especially.
