I do wish them the best of luck with the campaign - they haven't had much so far. The footage of the intro level looked good, and Eternal Darkness was one of the best Gamecube games, so it should be decent if it ever gets off the ground.

It won't happen, because it is not that type of event, but I hope they announce a new Metroid there.

I hope they get some exclusive indie developers while they are there. The best way for Nintendo to set themselves up as different is exclusive indie stuff. If they are reluctant to make new IPs, at least get some good quality indie devs.

If they nabbed someone like Team Meat (or someone with their quality), they would be laughing.

This is one good game ... once you get into it. I struggled at first to get my head around it; stick with it though, and it's a cracker.

The game does get silly-hard though!

I always found that I could beat Misty with his normal attacks. They were powerful enough to kill her pokemon before they could deal too much damage!

Saying that, I do hold a soft spot for Bulbasaur, as Venusaur's Solar Beam is immense.

Charmander is the best starter; but you have to ignore him until Brock has been beaten. Level up alternate Pokemon, beat Brock, then powerhouse Charmander.

I want new IPs, and the maintaining of old ones. I would love another Metroid, Starfox and F-Zero. Perhaps if they made a few less Mario games, they could pop a game out for the dormant franchises.

Any new stuff though is welcome; I just wish they would announce it sooner rather than later. If it is due out 2013, they really ought to show their hand soon.

I agree with you to an extent. My initial reaction about a HD update for WW was "why?". The great thing about the cel shaded graphics was that it stands the test of time. Wind waker still looks beautiful, even now.

Don't get me wrong, the visual updates are nice, but it would have been nicer to see Majora get the HD treatment.

As for the changes, I guess i'll wait and see if there are any surprises in store. If it is just a HD update, a faster boat, and the Tingle stuff, then i'll be disappointed. I will still buy it though, but it won't be my priority. W101, Sonic, and DK rank higher...

Besides, I like my games machines for gaming. Start adding in two many things and it ruins the whole thing. Look at the XBone. The key feature is television. Which is ridiculous.

The media stuff would be cool, but the problem I would have is that reading text on a screen gets tiring after a while. That is why the Kindle works great: e-ink. Unless they had a peripheral that you could hook up to read the text, I think it wouldn't be too great an idea.

Hopefully they will put this money towards a new Metroid game.

They have themselves a buyer if they add in Super Meat Boy and Jill (from Mighty Jill Off).

Do these people even know anything about Nintendo? They have lots of cash available so even if the Wii U does flop, it won't mean a lot. They will just try again. The Wii U isn't even doing that badly. The sales are similar to the Gamecube (one of my favourite consoles), which isn't bad considering that the Wii U currently doesn't have that much stuff out.

If you look at the upcoming titles for the remainder of the year, and 2014, there is a lot of good stuff set to come out, which will increase the userbase as the console becomes more appealing.

Sure, the Wii U will be a flop compared to the mammoth sales of the Wii, but I reckon it will end up selling about the same as the competition.

I don't know why i'm getting annoyed. This guy says that the 3DS is in decline; clearly he knows only two things - 'Jack' and 'S**t'.

I think a separate campaign with her playable (akin to separate ways with Resident Evil 4). If she had a Sheik alter ego, it would be very viable as a secondary [albeit much shorter] campaign.

I loved this one so much. It can be quite brutal, but not anywhere near the likes of Ghouls 'n' Ghosts. Yeah, there are a lot of cheap traps but (as iPruch mentions) they kinda throw extra lives at you so you can afford to use trial and error.

I also love that there are no special stages. I hate the special stages in all the sonic games, bar Generations 3DS where it is largely inoffensive.

Hahaha, this is the first time I have looked into this. I always assumed it was an Ubisoft version of Super Mario Bros. That said, looking into it, it looks pretty good. Another one to add onto my eshop wishlist

I think they are great choices. The only bad thing I have to say about the new ones is that when the Villager got announced, part of me was disappointed that it wasn't Tom Nook. I hope that none of the great existing characters get dropped though.

I personally hope that Sonic stays in it. Given the Nintendo exclusive Sonic games (which still sounds weird to say after the whole Megadrive v SNES thing when I was a kid), his inclusion should hopefully be more likely than not.

Other than him, most of the others I want are classic SSB characters so will probably stay.

I really want this game. This [and either NSMBU or NSLU - I haven't decided] are going to be my first games when I buy my Wii U later this summer. EXCITE!

(on that note, is NSLU worthwhile in terms of content to keep me going for a while?)

Ecco is one of my favourite games. I won't pass up the opportunity to get this [once it is available in Europe].

I disagree about Pikmin 3. I am getting my Wii U soon after that bad boy releases.

Shame there is no Abe's Exoddus. I vaguely remember possessing farts in that game...

Funny. The reason I am on this website is to get feelers on the Wii U. I went from Gamecube to 360, and will go back to Nintendo at the end of the year I reckon when some more games are out and I have bashed out my back catalog on the 360
