What’s jarring is the disconnect here: this take assumes everyone basically agrees Metroid Prime 4 is merely “good enough” (if not outright bad), while ignoring that the very same site previously called it excellent.

The write-up still feels delusional about this flop.

  1. If it’s “just good enough,” why give it a 9/10 (“excellent”) last month? You’re already saying it’s barely okay after only a few weeks. At this rate, you’ll probably be calling it a complete disappointment by next year.
  2. And it’s not even “good enough.” Objectively, it’s a tasteless, bland game—creatively bankrupt.
