@Deev Why not just get the Switch at that point? If you want it for the steamdeck so you can play it on the go then wouldn't the Switch make more sense?
@Ogbert Here's something I want you to do, if what Elon did was meant to be the "salute" then how come back in 2017 when Emmanuel Macron did the same salute nobody call him a N@zi?
Is it because it wasn't the n@zi salute? is it because people understood his salute was meant to show his love to his people? Or is it simply because of your deeply rooted hatred towards Elon that you and many others are willing to find any excuse to hate on him even if it means not only lying to yourselves but to the general public where even when presented with proof of your lies you'd rather double down, move the goal posts or find any excuse possible just to keep further justifying your hatred towards this one individual?
I get many of you don't like him, I don't like him either, but to make claims like this and compare him to someone who has caused actual suffering and grief only devalues the name you are choosing to call him, it's immature behavior. Why not just be mature and move on like the rest of us have done? Complaining about him on a daily basis is only going to cause massive headaches to everyone around you and is certainly not good for your health. Instead we should be talking about the latest Fantasy Life and how great it's going to be instead of all this political talk, let's leave all that where it's meant to be and get back to talking about video games.
@MoonCabin A 6/10 is more than a fair score for this game. While I am glad that your enjoying it wishing for it to be higher scored based on your personal experience that's not the norm for everyone.
When the first Wii Sports came out it came with just 5 sports to play with those being: Boxing, Tennis, Baseball, Bowling and Golf. It was meant to show off the motion controls and make people go "oh hey something new and exciting" and it worked.
Later down the road we got Wii Sports Resorts granting us 12 sports to play around with, a whole extra 7 more sports which included: Swordplay (which had duel, speed slice and showdown), wake-boarding, Frisbee, Disc Golf, Archery, Basketball (3 point and pickup), Table Tennis (has a Return Challenge mode), Golf, Bowling (100 pin and Spin Control), Power Crusing, Canoeing and Cycling all which had a VS mode, and lastly Air Sports (parachuting, dogfighting, and piloting). This was a game that made people want another Wii Sports game due to how popular this one really was with an average score of 8/10.
For it's latest successor to receive a 6/10 means that it didn't live up to it's predecessor in some given way. Maybe it's because of the shift in art-style where people loved the Mii's and felt they were an integral part in the franchise and to see them be replaced with these new characters doesn't feel right. Maybe it's because we're being told "hey you'll get more you just need to wait several months for Golf" despite the last two games already having Golf at the start.
This new version comes with Tennis, Bowling and swordplay (though now it's called Chambara?) and three new ones soccer, volleyball and badminton (which is just another Tennis) so really it's more like 2 new game modes. And Golf is being patched in sometime this year during the summer? So like 1 month, 2 months then? The fact that an older version from years back was able to put together 12 sports with different game modes and compare that to what we have now then yeah a 6/10 is where it'll be for the foreseeable future unless they patch in more sports beating the Resorts version I don't see this game getting any higher. It's not really a nostalgia talk coming from me, it's more "hey you're newer and you only give me half of what your predecessor game me while charging the same price and two of the sports are the same thing? Not that great of a deal if you ask me."
And why would I want to buy these knowing I can get them from Steam? I mean let's look at the comparisons here shall we?
NSO: $50 every year, need to be connected online to play (games can be played while you are offline, but you must have an active membership and regularly verify your membership by connecting to the internet) meaning no internet connection for some time and it's bye bye, servers down means can't play the game.
Steam: has big sales every so often, can be played offline and with the new SteamDeck, pay once and own it for life.
So this is like Folders without actually being Folders. This is just like that "well yes but actually no" meme. We got what we wanted (after waiting 5 freaking years) only to sort of get what we asked. Are they folders? Sorta. One step forward only to tumble backwards. Until they add these folders and that's what their called, not groups, to the main page I don't count this as a "good job Nintendo here have a trophy" deal.
Why bother with the expansion? Light Crusader and Alien Soldier are both on Steam for $0.99. Sure no Super Fantasy Zone but I'd rather take the route that's cheaper while actually owning the game. And hey with the new Steam Deck it performs just like the Switch. So far the expansions are still a joke.

Seriously, it's really a no brainer.

well that was a total lie.
