They already have four stages with three different lengths: why not include various campaigns? Perhaps each with all the short/medium/long levels? I'm not saying they should create new ones, but rather use what they already have.
At least in portability they could have included a 40fps option since Switch 2 supports 120hz. Mah, they have a lot of room for improvement. Very lazy version.
I really don't understand: why don't they add a way to play all the stages in extended/medium/mini version? I mean, it is not new material, it is already there! They could use that levels to refresh or create new campaign modes.
The art design is not only terrible, but it is also 1000 times inferior to the original pixel art. My, what a bad art restyling. Then as a beat-em-up fan, I hope it's fun, let's be clear.
The game was born in a troubled period for SNK and one can clearly see the imperfections and lack of polishing. However, it is far from being a mediocre game. A 6 seems much more appropriate to me.

@Moroboshi876 I don't understand, so are there 3 “continues” or an infinite number?

@Chimichanga
Honestly: it doesn't run well even on PS5 Pro. Let's at least try to have “realistic” expectations.

Re: F-Zero Inspired Racer 'Aero GPX' Launches In Early Access Today
It is not "inspired" by F-Zero: it is actually a clone.

"Aims for 30fps but still suffers frame rate dips".
Enough. I can't take it anymore: another game trudging along. I go on strike until Switch 2.
Re: Review: Freedom Planet 2 (Switch) - A Sonic-Style Platformer Exuding Passion & Quality
But, what does the frame rate look like specifically? 30 or 60fps? Are there any drops?
Re: 'Lake' Delivers Peaceful Narrative Postage On Switch Today
I just can't relax with 15fps at 540p.

I understand the nostalgia effect, but these are games from the Mesozoic, insert at least a dozen!
