Re: NightSky Rated for North America

YEEEEEESSSSSSSSS. I've been waiting to play this game so I could play it first on a Nintendo console. After 3 years of waiting, I will immediately purchase a 3DS Download card onthe day of release. I'm going to enjoy every minute of this game, especially the soundtrack.

I love the Gamecube controller. After all these years, slipping my hands onto that bad boy feels still feels so right... I never knew how to use it and I never had to learn. It somehow came second nature. I'd love if the new Smash Bros. was GCN controller-compatible.

Re: Talking Point: Does Nintendo Finally 'Get' Digital?

The system lock is to prevent just sharing around games like you would a CD. If it is account-based, you could just give your account to a friend and he could play it on his system. I'm sure there are limitations to prevent that, but then everyone will just b***ch about that.

Having said that, cheaper prices and retail download codes sound good to me, but leaving the game shop without a box will take some getting used to.

Please release NightSky first. I've been anxiously awaiting its release on a Nintendo console since 2009. I may be only one of the 5 people who want the game on 3DS, but they can't confirm it's being released on the eShop and then cancel it AGAIN.

...Can they?

Re: Feature: The Super Mario Renaissance

And through it all, I have discovered that I don't like Mario games. What!? How could any Nintendo fan dislike Mario games? Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. I don't dislike Mario games, it's just that they aren't much fun anymore. I bought Super Mario Galaxy. I bought both New Super Mario Bros. games. I bought Super Mario Galaxy 2. I bought Super Mario 3D Land. I bought 5 new Mario games. I only played 2.

I enjoyed the first few games, but by the time I gt SM3DL, I was done. The level design was nothing short of brilliant, but the challenge was non-existent. Yes, I played using the Tanooki Suit, and I didn't finish the second set of worlds. But after playing the same game so many times, I have no desire to play this one or any of the other games anymore.

The next time a Mario game comes out, unless it is significantly different, I will simply play one of my 5 games if I want a Mario fix. I can't keep buying the same game just because of the name.

Re: pitchWinPLAY Competition Announced

I have this idea I've been sitting on for about 3 years. I even have a basic outline of the story and gameplay. This sounds like a great competition, but I'd like to keep the option open to make my game myself if I choose down that career path.
