So it’s been over a month since launch and I FINALLY picked up the remaining stock at Walmart. They had quite a few left because it’s in an area with less games savvy people. I plan on selling them for $60. I’m Robin Hooding the scalpers. 😎
The PS5 is big and ugly because Sony made it so powerful that it will open up a black hole that will suck everything in its path into oblivion. The shortage is due to the fact that when the ones they made so far get plugged in at launch it will destroy the entire world with the exception of a small plot of land where Sony’s main execution’s live. The End
@Crockin I have a Lite and have never had drifting issues. I have had it for about 8 months now and have had no drifting issues. Finally picked up a regular Switch with the cute Animal Crossing characters on it (the special edition) and it’s hasn’t even been a month yet and the joy cons I bought as spares are messing up. Actually it’s barely been 2 weeks. And they were drifting new out of the box... I would go with the Lite because I don’t think drifting is as common...
Going to post a quick how-to for recovering “lost” delisted games that have been downloaded on the system but have since been deleted. Go to the eshop. Go to your account. Go to the downloadable software. You can download any software that has been removed and as of 2018 it included delisted titles such as the original 3D Pokédex (not the Pro), the original Freaky Forms, ambassador GBA games, and GB Tetris. I have not had to it since 2018 but it should still work because I recovered old games from used reset 3DS’s from Game Stop.
@MegaVel91 To answer your question about delisted games and being able to redownload the game if something happens to the data like if you transfer your data to a new SD card or you are downloading deleted games from a used 3DS don’t worry: I have actually downloaded the original 3D Pokédex on my launch 3DS, lost my data during an SD transfer gone wrong, and recovered the app minus the Dex data. This happened back in 2018 when the app had been delisted for years. The same thing with the original Freaky Forms and Game Boy Teris. So there is a chance that you can download it again as long as the eshop functions.
I noticed a lot of people here having “drift” issues with the standard Switch. I have a “Lite” and I haven’t had any issues with the “stick” drifting. I have no doubt that drifting is an issue but I wonder how hard some gamers may be on their joy-cons. People toting their standard Switch on the go and having it bounce around loose in its case can’t be good on them. Also some people can be rough on their systems. My original 3DS actually had the “circle pad” crumble off but the pad itself still works; it just doesn’t have the circle part. I was just wondering if the portability and carrying it everywhere plus abusing the joy-cons is partially to blame. Especially since the only people I know in person to experience drift is a kid who takes his out in public with him and his Switch itself is in poor condition. Everyone else I know that has one hasn’t experienced drifting but they are casual gamers who only play AC:NH...
As long as people are taking the social distancing precautions let people enjoy getting some fresh air. I have asthma but even I need some “outside time” at least once a day. I keep my distance from other people. I have had 2 tests that have been negative since my asthma and allergies can mimic mild COVID-19 symptoms. I wash my hands and I always carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer for myself and my daughter who I do take to the park to play Pokémon Go. We both mask and wash hands or sanitize after using the equipment there. I also wipe down the swings with Lysol wipes because I don’t want to spread germs. There haven’t been any cases in my area yet.
I have 4 different Bakugan games already on the original DS that I play every once in awhile on my New 3DS/2DS XL. I got all of them a few years ago when they were on clearance and while they are fun they are not worth full price. 2 of the old Bakugan games were DS exclusive and the other ones were available on other systems. The 2 exclusives are Bakugan: Battle Trainer and Bakugan: Rise of the Resistance. Rise of the Resistance is a tower defense action RPG hybrid and is surprisingly good for what it is (I don’t like tower defense but I like this game). That said I am outside of the age group for both the 2008-2012 series and the reboot and don’t really think I will pick it up. I liked the original just fine but I am not impressed with the CANADIAN MADE reboot. Fun fact: the original Bakugan FAILED in Japan and the series was only continued because dumb North American children living in the USA and Canada liked it. The other seasons and reboot are a product of Spin Master who are known to make terrible toy cartoons like Paw Patrol and anything Bakugan past season 1...
@boywundr I have asthma too so I feel ya. I’m just incredibly lucky that I literally live in range of a Stop that can be spun from the comfort of my own home. Same for the gym which is a real gym irl lol... But not everyone has my luck of living near “free items and coins”. I live in a small town with a big player base for it’s size. I live in an area with a lot of Trump supporters but everyone I have seen are using masks so it’s safer here than places where people aren’t masking. But yeah being asthmatic makes using masks difficult and I find myself having to lift my mask up to breath (but I do so when there isn’t any other person near me and more than double the distance they recommend).
I play on an iPhone 6s. Hopefully it won’t affect me. I have never had any issues running the app with my device and I actually purchased the older iPhone here recently back in March because it was “cheaper” at $99 and because I had grown to hate my $800 Samsung that I got for Christmas. It’s sad because the 6s runs better than that Samsung model that is just over a year old.
@Fandabidozi I have over 500 different ones on my copy of Ultra Sun. Before I lost my data on the original Sun I had a near complete shiny Dex (minus most shiny locked Pokémon). I had to start a lot of my collection from scratch but luckily I had some shinies stored in Bank and not on the actual Sun game...
I like the way Pokémon Go handles the shiny rate. I will say that there have been times that I didn’t find anything shiny on community day however since the coronavirus adjustments I have found multiples of many Pokémon. I had never put coins into expanding my storage box but I did so twice this year. I’m a free player who refuses to spend money on PoGo so I had to get the coins through gyms. I have a ton of shiny Magikarp and 2 shiny Gyarados. I had more but had to release some. I have the same issues with Gengar, Alakazam, Shiftry, and some others. I did some prior community days and have missed quite a few shinies. The first time I caught a shiny during community day was Eevee back in 2018 (evolved him into Umbreon). But my first ever shiny was a Swablu (caught 2 of them). Minun was also an early catch and I actually use him in the Go Battle League (1500 and under tier). I have a small amount of shiny legendaries but all of those came from tasks or rewards and not raids. Latias was the first one. I also have Cobalion and Groudon.
I think that Nintendo should put some of their classic NES and SNES games on a physical Switch cart/digital game and sell it. That way they can make money off of the old stuff and wouldn’t have to worry about pirating illegal roms because of the price of buying old games on eBay... And they should do the same thing with GB/GBC/GBA games too.
@DreamStar Symphony of the Night NTSC is actually quite valuable as long as it’s not the “Hits” reprint. I have the original copy with the case. If mine was sealed it would be a couple hundred dollars but since mine is opened it is only worth about $100. It still works because I have played it recently on the old PS2 using the “backwards” function. As far as rare Nintendo games go my personal rarest is a physical copy of Yo-Kai Watch 3 3DS (NTSC). I found it for $5 in a bin at Walmart a few months ago only to find out that there wasn’t many physical copies made and that my game would have been in the $70 and up range had I not opened it lol.
@TG16_IS_BAE I like Game Stop. The location in my area is nice as can be. I don’t get why people dislike them so much. But then again I live in a small town and people are nicer around here. So for me personally if we didn’t have a Game Stop in my area I would not be able to get any variety of Nintendo games outside of clearanced 3DS games and terrible Paw Patrol on the Switch from Walmart. With Game Stop at least I can get game merchandise since Walmart is void of merchandise. On the plus side I found a copy of Yo Kai Watch 3 at the Walmart clearance section for $5. I have wanted to play it since last year but couldn’t find a physical copy. Now I found one.
@AaronJ001 It depends on where you live though as far as what is considered a minor. In the USA as a rule of the thumb it’s under 18. Some countries once you turn 13 you are grown. In Uganda for example you are considered an adult at 16 (or maybe younger).

I’m starting to worry about the sanity of the fan base at this point. TPCI is just gonna troll us all and Gen 4 remakes are going to end up as a Let’s Go game and we won’t get Johto at all...
I have a Switch Lite but my New 2DS XL gets way more love. I recently found a copy of the original Yo-Kai Watch brand new for $5 in a discount section at a local Walmart. The 3DS isn’t dead yet but it’s definitely on its last legs. Oddly enough I went to a different Walmart and the same Yo-Kai Watch game was $32.88. I also found Yo-Kai Watch 3 which is supposed to be rare or whatever and I grabbed it too. The only reason my Switch Lite is largely ignored is the fact that I only have 2 games for it: Sonic Mania and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX. The games are kinda expensive and I’m still holding back on Gen 8 because I’m worried I won’t like them.
I downloaded the US release on Christmas and am satisfied. Sure it's a down grade from the DS titles but it is 10 dollars cheaper than the DS titles so you get what you pay for. I'm not too sad about no online dueling with other owners. I'm only sad there's no character creating or story to go with it. Other than that I'm happy and would recommend this only for fans of the anime or card game noobs.
I bought this in October awhile after the last patch was announced and I'm loving it. No problems with any crashing. I took a long break a couple of days after downloading to play the ORAS demo and Alpha Sapphire and now I'm back to Grinsia. I love this because the gameplay is simple. The story line is recycled from other titles but I'm the weird type that loves familiar repetitiveness in both story and gameplay. In other words this being mix of already outdated mechanics and story telling is why I absolutely love it. I guess familiar gameplay mechanics would be why I'm good at RPG's but never beat a platformer before the VC.
I love old school rpgs but even though I like this game, I much prefer pokemon yellow when it comes to gb rpgs. I'm hoping the Final Fantasy Legend for gb comes to the eshop.
this game is the exact reason why I love pokemon so much. it's worse than demi-kids for the gba. At least demi-kids had two versons to trade demons between. This game as no way to compete against other players so whats the point. Plus it was too short a story (if you can call it that) and you cannot choose the protagonists gender or keep the mated monster parents so you end up killing two monsters which are very hard to catch for one. I'd say its not only the worst rpg, its the worst game you can buy.
I thought the story was pretty good. It answered alot of my Roxas questions since he was only in the begining of KH2 and appeared a couple of time at the end. I was wondering after beating KH2 what Roxas was doing before the story in 2. This answered many questions and actually the familiar world from before were enjoyable. It wouldn't have made sense to add any new worlds until 3.

@Ogbert Actually there is this Pokémon Go feature called Adventure Sync that uses the pedometer. It was introduced back in 2018.
On a different note I can still play at home just fine because my house is in range of both a Poké Stop and gym.

this game is the exact reason why I love pokemon so much. it's worse than demi-kids for the gba.
Re: Review: 3D Classics: Urban Champion (3DSWare)
I've played worse. The worst nintendo game I've played on the ds would have to be the dsiware game crystal monsters. worst game EVER!!!
Re: Review: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS)
I thought the story was pretty good. It answered alot of my Roxas questions since he was only in the begining of KH2 and appeared a couple of time at the end. I was wondering after beating KH2 what Roxas was doing before the story in 2. This answered many questions and actually the familiar world from before were enjoyable. It wouldn't have made sense to add any new worlds until 3.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - June 2009
I love the nintendo games. Especially Mario, Mappy, and Pikachu. I'm pretty fond of DS version of guitar hero as well.
