I liked both LW and LW2. Sure, they were short but they were still a good deal at 1000 points. Too many games go for length and wind up annoying or boring in the last hours anyway. Short and sweet is so much better then long and boring. Also, based on 1 and 2's dev cycle, I'm estimating March 2011 at the earliest for LW3. We'll see, though.
Man peopel are harsh on this one. Sure the combat looks mixed in this, but the graphics are fun and fluid and the premise is decent. I'm still hoping this will be decent and fill the void of never-coming-out Animales de Muertes.
Impressive. I wasnt planning on getting this at all but now there's a chance. I love it when Developers/etc. make a conscious effort to out-do competetion, especially in regards to features largely or entirely absent on a system.
Have a 360 but odds are I won't be getting the Kinect. I might eventually get Move for my PS3 but Kinect is much more expensive and I haven't seen anything to convince me. Good luck with the new site!
Wait, so he's complaining about Nintendo's lack of PR support for Wiiware and DSiWare, when his game was one of the few that were part of an Ad campaign from Nintendo? I agree that Nintendo needs to do more, but this isn't really the right guy to be talking about it.
Cannot wait. I played the original two back when they came out so this is a long time in the coming. Not looking forward to those damned "puzzles" though. @pixelman-lol, its so true.
I feel really young actually, as I was born into the end of the NES era, but I didn't really play games until the N64 was out. Not sure if its good or bad, lol.
1 in 20 now, huh? That's still MUCH better odds than on other sites, like Joystiq, or other contests or lotteries. So it's actually fun, because there's an actual chance.
There are very similar programs for PC users who have a USB-compatible keyboard. I'd recommend that (can't remember the name) instead, especially if you're actually trying to learn piano.
Can we just have the Anniversary Collection already Nintendo? I mean, Japan gets it, Europe gets it and special red systems, Australia gets a bloody train, and we get...a website and a screensaver?
@Mickeymac-I've only tried their more recent stuff TBQH, and I liked DQ8 and I liked Layton a lot. Still need to try DQ9 and some of their older stuff though.
There's a number of ways that Nintendo's online (or even just the Wii Shop Channel) could be improved. Demoes, better search, faster navigation, a more clear loading screen, etc.
@Feenie-actually, you'd prolly like Layton. its fairly laidback compared to other puzzle games. plus it has a story and fun, unlike many other puzzle games.
But seriously, I am shocked that the AA announcement was this. And unlike the AAI2 announcement, I mean that in a good way.
@Punny-usually there winds up being about a 50-50 ratio of newbies who win that just joined for the context, and those that are actually part of the community, lol.
I have done pretty well in the past with NL contests so I'm putting my hat in, or whatever the phrase is. Wonder what I would choose, never thought of getting a NES game before. Maybe MM2? Or a Mario...or something else, lol.
This game is not looking too impressive so far, closer to a senior tech project than a professional game. I hope that it manages to exceed expectations upon release, because as the article's sarcasm indicates, there are TONS of zombie games right now.

Re: Super Meat Boy May Skip WiiWare and Head to Retail
I'd rather see it on disc for that price than to trim it ridiculously down to meet size requirements.
Re: America, These Are Your New Club Nintendo Rewards
Wow...this...why even update the store then?
Re: Our Nintendo Life Begins...
Must add to the lunacy, almost 5 year wtf yes awesome amazing real sentences in comments be overrated yo
Re: Exclusive: Nintendo Bringing Back WiiWare Demos
Yay. As many demoes as possible.
Re: Super Meat Boy Will Miss November Launch Window
If I do get it, it probably won't be on Wii, as if they're already having this much trouble, the finally version's gonna be rough.
Re: Review: Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals (DS)
On my to-get list now.

Re: Super Mario All-Stars Warps Straight to the Top of the Japanese Charts
Im totally getting this collection and then World on VC.
Re: Features: Bizarre Emails Sent to Nintendo Life - Volume 2
Wow, people disappoint me more every day. But thanks for putting this feature up to have a few laughs between the countless face palms.
Re: Review: Silent Hill Play Novel (Game Boy Advance)
Unintentional funny: reviewer's last name is a letter away from Fear.
Re: Review: James Bond 007 (Game Boy)
yeah that tagline made me lol. But I might pick this up if I see it in a used game store.
Re: 3DS Shopping Channel Details and First Video Emerge
And the 3DS shop will have DSiWare games too? I cant remember if that was confirmed or not.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - November 2010
Totally getting Mario Party 2 when its released.
Re: Get Ready for KINECTaku!

Re: New Donkey Kong Country Returns Trailer Shows Mine Cart Madness
Looks really fun, and the graphics seem a bit shinier and fluid since I last saw them too. Gonna be good.
Re: Nintendo & Capcom Team Up to Spook European Gamers With Ghost Trick
Can't wait, looks really intriguing. Like the style of cutscne/dialouge.
Re: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition Coming to U.S.
Oh dammit, I just sent this in and right after I see you guys put this up, lol.
I for one will be getting the collection and might even grab a second copy to sell when its rare like what happened with Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Re: Buying Ivy the Kiwi? Helps Save Real Kiwis
What about US copies? I wanna help with my gaming purchase!

Re: First Plants vs. Zombies DS Trailer Sprouts and Shambles
New content=cool.
Lackluster frame rate and animations=not cool.
I'll stick with my itouch version. ($2.99)
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th October 2010 (North America)
Resisting FLashlight for now
but I'll probably get FATE next time I'm home.
Re: Review: ThruSpace (WiiWare)
Sounds like a prety solid game, but not one up my alley. Nice review, Patrick.
Re: Red Wii and DSi XL Coming Stateside on November 7th
Oh gorrammit, just give us the Anniversary game already.
Re: New Golden Sun Trailer Light on Talk, Big on Excitement
Cannot wait. I played the original two back when they came out so this is a long time in the coming.
Not looking forward to those damned "puzzles" though.
@pixelman-lol, its so true.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Nearly Had a Shoot 'em Up Stage
Interesting but I'm glad it didn't go down that route. Mario is fun and different because it doesn't take the same routes so many other games do.

Re: Mario Anniversary Screensaver and Pins Arrive at Club Nintendo
Wow, what ridicululously awful rewards.
Can we just have the Anniversary Collection already Nintendo? I mean, Japan gets it, Europe gets it and special red systems, Australia gets a bloody train, and we get...a website and a screensaver?
Re: THQ Shows Its Support by Bringing Multiple Titles to the 3DS
THQ isnt that strong of a publisher when it comes to diverse, quality titles, but its always good to have more third-party support.
Re: Drool at this Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright Trailer
Insert drooll, followed by my money.
This is the closest we'll get to a PWAA anime it seems, and I'm okay with that.
Re: Level-5's Time Travelers to Materialise on the 3DS
@Mickeymac-I've only tried their more recent stuff TBQH, and I liked DQ8 and I liked Layton a lot. Still need to try DQ9 and some of their older stuff though.
Re: Broken Rules Feels Let Down by Nintendo's Online Strategy

Re: Review: Resident Evil 2 (Nintendo 64)
I saw this for $12 at my game store recently and foolishly didnt get it. I hope its still there next time I go!!
Re: Level-5's Time Travelers to Materialise on the 3DS
I love Level 5 now. I had nothing against them before, but recently, <3 them.

Re: Netflix Channel Now Available From Wii Shop
I might download this in the future, since I already have the disc and my family has the NF account.
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th October 2010 (North America)
Mystic Quest makes this a better week than average. Its not often we get
VCan RPG to download.Re: Review: Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
@markfrompoland
yeah, but you guys still get Mario Compilation and we get jack all so far.
Re: Review: Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
@mickeymac--I'll prolly do the same, especially if Redbox has it once they start carrying Wii games later this month.
Re: Review: Resident Evil 2 (Nintendo 64)
@Koto-yup, just one. Also, for the record, there was an RE game for GBC too, Gaiden in 2002.
IIRC, the Gamecube version of this is a near-exact port of the Dreamcast version.
Re: First Impressions: Super Meat Boy
I hope its somehow only 1000ish points on Wiiware, not even sure if I'd get it because I suck at hard games and don't really enjoy them.
Do appreciate the First Look approach, kudos to Corbie.
Re: BIT.TRIP FATE Coming October 25th
But how does it taste?
Re: Review: Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS)
I'll get this when I'm done with my RPG Hiatus.

Re: Mew Returns to Pokemon in HeartGold and SoulSilver
Might as well connect this weekend and see if it works. Wouldn't mind a cute little pink ball of death or two.
