I liked both LW and LW2. Sure, they were short but they were still a good deal at 1000 points. Too many games go for length and wind up annoying or boring in the last hours anyway. Short and sweet is so much better then long and boring. Also, based on 1 and 2's dev cycle, I'm estimating March 2011 at the earliest for LW3. We'll see, though.

I'd rather see it on disc for that price than to trim it ridiculously down to meet size requirements.

Man peopel are harsh on this one. Sure the combat looks mixed in this, but the graphics are fun and fluid and the premise is decent. I'm still hoping this will be decent and fill the void of never-coming-out Animales de Muertes.

Impressive. I wasnt planning on getting this at all but now there's a chance. I love it when Developers/etc. make a conscious effort to out-do competetion, especially in regards to features largely or entirely absent on a system.

Have a 360 but odds are I won't be getting the Kinect. I might eventually get Move for my PS3 but Kinect is much more expensive and I haven't seen anything to convince me. Good luck with the new site!

Wait, so he's complaining about Nintendo's lack of PR support for Wiiware and DSiWare, when his game was one of the few that were part of an Ad campaign from Nintendo? I agree that Nintendo needs to do more, but this isn't really the right guy to be talking about it.

I feel really young actually, as I was born into the end of the NES era, but I didn't really play games until the N64 was out. Not sure if its good or bad, lol.

Interesting but I'm glad it didn't go down that route. Mario is fun and different because it doesn't take the same routes so many other games do.

1 in 20 now, huh? That's still MUCH better odds than on other sites, like Joystiq, or other contests or lotteries. So it's actually fun, because there's an actual chance.

There are very similar programs for PC users who have a USB-compatible keyboard. I'd recommend that (can't remember the name) instead, especially if you're actually trying to learn piano.

THQ isnt that strong of a publisher when it comes to diverse, quality titles, but its always good to have more third-party support.

@Mickeymac-I've only tried their more recent stuff TBQH, and I liked DQ8 and I liked Layton a lot. Still need to try DQ9 and some of their older stuff though.

There's a number of ways that Nintendo's online (or even just the Wii Shop Channel) could be improved. Demoes, better search, faster navigation, a more clear loading screen, etc.

I saw this for $12 at my game store recently and foolishly didnt get it. I hope its still there next time I go!!

I love Level 5 now. I had nothing against them before, but recently, <3 them.

@Feenie-actually, you'd prolly like Layton. its fairly laidback compared to other puzzle games. plus it has a story and fun, unlike many other puzzle games.

But seriously, I am shocked that the AA announcement was this. And unlike the AAI2 announcement, I mean that in a good way.

@Punny-usually there winds up being about a 50-50 ratio of newbies who win that just joined for the context, and those that are actually part of the community, lol.

I have done pretty well in the past with NL contests so I'm putting my hat in, or whatever the phrase is. Wonder what I would choose, never thought of getting a NES game before. Maybe MM2? Or a Mario...or something else, lol.

I might download this in the future, since I already have the disc and my family has the NF account.

Mystic Quest makes this a better week than average. Its not often we get VC an RPG to download.

@Koto-yup, just one. Also, for the record, there was an RE game for GBC too, Gaiden in 2002.

IIRC, the Gamecube version of this is a near-exact port of the Dreamcast version.

I hope its somehow only 1000ish points on Wiiware, not even sure if I'd get it because I suck at hard games and don't really enjoy them.

This game is not looking too impressive so far, closer to a senior tech project than a professional game. I hope that it manages to exceed expectations upon release, because as the article's sarcasm indicates, there are TONS of zombie games right now.

Might as well connect this weekend and see if it works. Wouldn't mind a cute little pink ball of death or two.
