Personally, I don't like the idea of games with story. IMO, less story, more gameplay.

I went back to both the ps1 and the N64 after reading this, and I have to say that the only reason Nintendo got outsold was because of the cartridges. The N64 still has classic games that are still unrivaled today. However, I tried all the 'classic' of the PS1, and all of them have been easily bypassed by titles on the DS and others.

IMO, the PSP's barely a game system to begin with, just a media system. It wins in that department because I've seen people with PSPs who don't have any games, they just use it as a mp3 player among other things. Although, I'm only saying this because the DSi shop SUCKS for the most part.

I can't stand the 3D Zeldas for some reason. So, add that with a frustrating time system, and you got yourself an instant skip.

I have to say, this game has a freaking awesome concept. However, it's killed by 1 thing, the controls. The flick is completely broken!

Eh, both games don't interest me. The moving notepad holds promise, however. I guess I'll be saving for GB games.

What a fun game. The controls are almost natural so anyone can do them. Only problem I can find is that it's too short.

^ Ugh. If I wanted a good plot, I'd read a book or watch a movie. What you clearly do not get is that gameplay is the whole point of games from the start. If you go through games with crappy gameplay just to see the next cutscene or plot twist (cough*Final Fantasy*cough, don't kill me FF fanboys) you clearly should not play games.

^ You're saying that Fire Emblem has a worse story than Sonic? SONIC!?!? Clearly, you've never played the FE games. 1 game has as much story as all the Sonic games combined (Sonic Adventure 1& 2 excluded).
Emotions for Nintendo characters require imagination (which I prefer). Sonic games have what feels like rushed, and cheesy dialogue.
And finally, Sonic characters are numerous, each with their own distinct look and personality that sets them apart from the pack
