@KS8 You mean you liked Snowboard Riot and Plattchen, but not Onslaught?
But back to this pile of garbage (I'm not a big fan of party games besides Mario Party). This is exactly what gaywad idiots like IGN think the Wii is all about. WHAT IS IT WITH SHOVELWARE ON WIIWARE?!?
@Dazza, LOL,nice one! (that's why you're still a kid ) You know a game sucks when even KS8 doesn't like it.
I finally got to downloading this, and so far I'm loving it , except when people online are jerks ( The last "teammate" I had left me to die with dozens of bugs ).
Okay, after about a month of playing MKWii and keeping this on the SD card, I tried it again. It's still as slow and slippery as ever, but thre's 1 thing I absolutely love now. The item balance. It's perfect! It felt so great to race without getting bombed by a blur shell 1 cm from the finish line.
A pure classic with gameplay that's still fun to play. (even though it's on every Namco Collection known to mankind, making this release almost worthless)
^ Chuckles silently Wow, those guys actually linked to a WWW page criticizing the game. I never thought I'd see a developer with a bigger ego than Data Design Interactive.
^ "Run don't walk. Problem solved." You shouldn't have to constantly dash. Kirby's Adventure didn't have that problem.
"2. What are you talking about? Bosses are easy, and in most cases their hitbox is like they're entire body" What are YOU talking about? Nobody I know can beat the second boss (I know like 10 people who own this game).
In conclusion, Kirby 64 took everything great about this amazing series and overcomplicated it.
^ Okay, I'm curious. Why, no, HOW can you even like this? IMO the game's too slow, Kirby moves like a fat lard when walking regularly, and some of the bosses require ridiculously perfect jumps to hit a microscopic weak spot.
Gosh, I despise this game. It left no lasting impression on me (mostly because I played SMW to death) If you can spare an extra 300 Wii Points, buy SMW instead.
Personally, I'm just happy I'm getting a new DS (my DS's L button doesn't work, as well as having multiple scratches). Also, Nintendo better have a virtual handheld (with Mother 3 as 1 of the launch titles perhaps? )
I can understand your desire to see the Mother/Earthbound series released outside Japan. At this time, however, no announcements have been made regarding such an occurrence. Certain songs in the game resemble certain real songs far too much, which is something that wouldn't fly with lawyers. You have GOT to be kidding me. The games resemble real songs which some were released AFTER the game itself (some of them). I think I speak for anyone here when I say COPYRIGHTS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (in this case)
^ You don't know what the Minus World is? Basically, it's a underwater level that constantly repeats until you die or run out of time. The glitch is accessed at the end of level 1-2.

Re: Review: China Warrior (TG-16)
I seriously swore it was a Warioware game the first time I saw this.
Re: Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen
I'll pass. I'm too dum for strategy games.

Not expecting much.
Re: ESRB Update: Four New WiiWare Games on the Way
A 16-bit FF? Sweet
Re: Review: Mario Bros. (NES)
This is a great game for co-op, but not much else.

Re: Wisconsin To Tax Digital Downloads
Well, I'll give 'em this. It's a smart idea to basically nab free money. It still sucks though.

Re: Diatomic Update
What a sweet pic.
Re: EU WiiWare Update: Beer Pong and Snowboard Riot
Ouch, You really got screwed.
Re: Wisconsin To Tax Digital Downloads
Well, crap. While taxing downloads is a good way to get rid of debt, THIS FRICKN' SUCKS!!!!

Re: Review: Space Invaders: The Original Game (SNES)
Why would they make a barebone Space Invaders game on the SNES? Seriously, they could have added something different to make it new.
Re: Review: Ristar (MD)
I loved this game on Sonic Mega Collection (only reason I bought the game really) It's a great concept executed flawlessly.
Re: Review: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)
^ Okay, I'm curious. Why, no, HOW can you even like this? IMO the game's too slow, Kirby moves like a fat lard when walking regularly, and some of the bosses require ridiculously perfect jumps to hit a microscopic weak spot.
Re: Review: Phantasy Star II (MD)
Seriously? Only 7/10? And Corbie didn't review it?
Re: Review: Milon's Secret Castle (NES)
This is one of the most frustrating games ever conceived. Heck, in Nintendo Power they called "Starting Out" a cheat.
Re: Review: Gunstar Heroes (MD)
There's only 1 word to describe this game: INTENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll take this over Contra & Metal Slug any day.
Re: Review: Kirby's Adventure (NES)
One of the best on the NES (and way better than other Kirbys)
Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (MD)
IMO this is the 2nd best sonic side-scroller, only being beat by Sonic CD.
Re: Review: Pokémon Snap (N64)
While I think this is a great game (mostly because you can hit that annoying Meowth with an apple ) it's too darn short.
Re: Review: Excitebike (NES)
This game aged amazingly well. The level editor was just as good as years ago.
Re: Review: Mario Kart 64 (N64)
IMO this game aged horribly. It's WAY too slow.
Re: Review: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES)
Wow, this is the only game I bought used and returned in less than 10 minutes (Classic NES port)
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Gosh, I despise this game. It left no lasting impression on me (mostly because I played SMW to death) If you can spare an extra 300 Wii Points, buy SMW instead.

For anyone tempted to buy this crap, watch this.

He says it better than I can.
Re: Review: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)
Please, PLEASE don't buy this waste of $$$$$$$$$. Buy Kirby's Adventure instead.
Re: Review: Wave Race 64 (N64)
I truly despise the existence of this crap. If you're looking for a decent racer, look somewhere else (cough, F-Zero X, cough)
Re: Review: F-Zero X (N64)
Best racer ever. None even come close.
Re: Review: Metroid (NES)
This game's really hard. Even with the invincibility code (NARPAS SWORD0 000000 000000) it's tough to finish the game.
Re: Review: Star Fox 64 (N64)
Anyone with a love of shooting friend's ships down (like me) should buy this immediately.
Re: Review: Super Mario World (SNES)
Best. Mario. EVAR!!!!!!!!!
oh, and fir-- oh forget it

Does online require friend codes?
Re: Hudson Not Abandoning Virtual Console After All?
Give me Rondo of Blood & Mario Party 1,2, and 3 and I'll be satisfied.
Re: Onslaught
@ Alexsays and Digiki,
We'll just have to agree to disagree.
Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Oh yes, I have fond memories of getting the Classic NES version for the GBA, then returning it between 10 to 20 minutes later.
Re: Phantasy Star IV
Okay, can you jump right into this game without getting confused with the story or should I play the first ones first?
Re: Super Metroid
Personally, I think Zero Mission is better then this.
