Yeah but when hardcore games are released on Wii no one buys them, they wait a few months until they're half the price. I don;t blame them.

I started with Sonic one and it still is great to this day.

What made the game so good? Mario had exploration and a nice slow pace but Sonic had a fast pace but also a good level of exploration. It had a certain charm about it, it had the bright colours that we’d seen in a Mario though things were a bit different levels became Acts, worlds became Zones and they gave us a huge variety of things. Whether this was the lushness of the Green Hill Zone, avoiding fire in the Marble Zone, bouncing crazy in Spring Yard Zone, THAT countdown in Labyrinth Zone, the brilliant music of Star Light Zone or the mix of everything in Scrap Brain Zone Sonic the Hedgehog has something for everyone.

They should have put shots on in 3D so people could check on their browser.

This better be playing when you go in, it would be awesome.

@mariofanatic128 I couldn't agree with you anymore, there's a ton of great titles out there on the Wii. It reminds me of the GCN and N64, so many classics that at the time were pretty much scoffed at.

Aye I cancelled my pre-order from GAME as frankly they charge far too much.

I like that the videos are hints rather than an actual video of what to do, that should help people definitely.

Breaking news: NIntendo pretty much announce that they were going to release the console in June but moved it forward to get a higher profit in its fiscal year.

Well with Europe getting VIII first and we've eventually had a release of IV,V,VI a disk with I,II and III would be fantastic as Europe were totally shafted on this franchise. Now for a release of VII and that would be perfection.

Though I really can't see it sadly, unless they're using is as a step up to plug X (E3 anyone?!)

Yeah it's at least £30 in most places and reviews are average at best.

I'd quite like to see it on the 3DS, they really picked up the ball with colours and it'd be interesting to see how the 3D effect would cope with the speed of sonic.

I'm excited, as I've said several times the original has aged terribly so it'll be nice to play the game again without accidentally walking through a wall.

I think it's four things.
1) As the InstantGamer said 3DSiXL, people think a new model will be out next year.
2) The price. The UK paid on average $350 which works out at £60 more we're paying than the states for the same unit and even then most people think their price is expensive.
3) The games. Who wants Street fighter when they have it? Who wants a ton of terrible ubisoft ports? Nintendogs? Not much quality out yet for it. The big guns are due soon.
4) "I've already got a DS" My mate said to me. The way it's been marketed is as though it's a DS with a 3D screen rather than a totally new console like DS from GBA or GBA from GB. It's not a GBC to the GB but the Advance. Market it that way.

Hasn't Iwata already said this? I'm pretty sure he mentioned that they woudn't go with a 3D home console until 50+% of homes had a 3DTV that's why the wii didn't launch in HD.

Aren't the majority of people getting the fault after the initial update? So why would doing said update help?
