Re: Asteroid Challenge Is Bringing Classic Arcade Action To The Wii U eShop

NexisGames

@Damo There is 100% a backlink in the post in question and I'm sure you get 100's of emails, but this wasn't one of them. After it became obvious that NL only wanted to steal our work, and not follow ethical journalistic practices, we removed your domain from our press release list.

No you haven't targeted anyone at nuggets, but you have written childish articles geared towards pitting our developers against each other. Don't pretend to be innocent here, you guys are 100% bad guys who play innocent in the eyes of the public.

@Damo Just because you are hiding your vile actions behind a much more ethical site does not detract from what your doing. We were sourced in the GN article for our hard work, you just stole it and didn't give us credit.

As I stated, you assumed wrong and you should learn to accurately cite your sources. This also isn't the first time you have stole information from us. It started with chasing dead, after your tweet of death you sent me last yr.

Like I said, I am not the only one who has noticed, you'd be surprised at the people and organizations who have spoke out against your actions.

@Damo Despite our punch-out style relationship, as I told you on twitter, we actually respect the hell out of this site. You guys are all great writers whom do great work and one day we hope to achieve what you have at NL. Personally, I just don't like seeing mean spirited articles like this, but I also understand that this is your site.

@MitchVogel after reading your Stone Shire review, you made an initial impression as a nice guy, but to me, your tone seems to have gotten a little darker . This article didn't strike me as "righteous", in-fact, it was damning and borderline slanderous. I hope the old Mitch comes back, because if I decide to send out review codes again, it'd come to you.

Anyways, I'm heading back to my side of town, take care!

@Damo When it's something of this magnitude, if you can post it on the weekend, you can update it on the weekend — not to mention, it looks as if several posts were made afterwards.

This is a wordpress site, its simple enough to update a post (we both know that). In my opinion this charade seems somewhat intentional, but as I stated that is only my opinion.

Indies have enough to deal with, I really wish you guys understood that; if you did, nuggets wouldn't exist. Such articles can have consequences on a young studio's career even if not true. What if a interested publisher saw this article yesterday and dropped the game because of it? Please take peoples careers and lively-hoods a little more seriously, that's all I'm saying.

Anyways I appreciate you updating it.

@Damo Thank You

@Damo The reason was known shortly after this post, it's been a day, and yet, there's no update on Nintendo Life. Instead, this un-updated article is "still" popping up in Google News filling peoples heads with inaccurate information.

Re: Bigley's Revenge Has Been Removed From the eShop

NexisGames

@NintendoLife Considering the impact this site has on the gaming community and the size of the audience that follows you, one would think you might show a little responsibility by updating this article with accurate information. It's almost as if you are purposely trying to harm this developer for some reason.

This is precisely why I started Nintendo Nuggets...

@Cypronia The more you speak, the more you show your ignorance of programming logic. I've wasted enough time on you. I've already proven my point and have nothing else to say. In the future please don't base my or any other studio's abilities on your own limitations.

Have a nice day.

PS
10+ Items/Weapons for CraftyKart, UCraft itself will have 200+

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@Cypronia Also since you seem to be confused on how to handle RAM limitations I figured I’d give you a small lesson on how real voxel engines work. UCraft handles world generation procedurally and has the ability to Create and Destroy voxels as needed. In order to bypass the Ram limitations all I needed to do was figure out exactly how much the Wii U can handle at one time.

Once I figured this out it was a simple matter of creating/destroying voxels as needed to stay within the limitation of the system. To avoid excessive save and loading times UCraft save files were broken down into region files and are only referenced as needed.

It would be a novice move to load the entire stage at one time. This seems to be the case on CL.

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@Cypronia I haven't answered that specific question because this is a UCraft thread and you have a habit of notoriously appearing in the threads of other developers in shameless attempts to advertise your own games.

If you'd like to discuss UCraft features here then I am all for it, if you would like to further discuss the shortcomings of your own game then we can do it in a CL thread or twitter

Have a nice day.

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@Cypronia Yes you can modify every block, is that even a notable feature for a sandbox game? UCraft uses on the fly terrain generation utilizing perlin noise/worms which is what allows for infinite worlds. From the looks of cube life you guys simply designed your world post run-time scene by scene in unity making your environment static not dynamic like you claim.

UCraft is 100% dynamic, the real deal!
Thanks for your comments!

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@Cypronia I wasn't talking or referring to you but yes, I''ll upload a small video later today. Also, please do not compare our engines as they are not in the same league. Your world is 100% static and you pre-load blocks. Seems to us you purposely poorly executed the backend of your game in an attempt to beat the comp at the consumers expense. Those loading times are 100% unacceptable and you know it.

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@NintendoLife You can write all the Nasty articles/snide comments you want to about me/Nexis but as I'm sure you have come to realize I am not going anywhere. NL may be huge but the gaming world is bigger than this site

It's no surprise that so many devs have issues with articles from NintendoLife but sadly I'm the only one brave enough to call you out on your childish behavior. Correct me if im wrong but wasn't an NL editor recently let go for unprofessional articles/reviews?

Anyways thank you for your "support" of our games!

Re: Video: UCraft's CraftyKart PowerPack Mod Gets Its Own Hard Rockin' Trailer

NexisGames

@andrea987 Yes to all of those questions, UCraft will actually deliver on its promises unlike many other eshop titles. UCraft will also have machines and copperstone which has not been mentioned by any other Nintendo sandbox voxel devs

We don't take the easy way at Nexis and if being last to the eshop means I'll lose a few sales then so be it. Its about quality over quantity for me and like I always said I don't want your money I want your heart!
