Weird! I don't see Spectacular Sparky listed here at all! Even though it just released yesterday- Does it not count?

I hope y'all don't sleep on it! Really cool homage to the Sega Genesis/Treasure-era of platform shooters.

While it's called a "high-definition remaster of 3 games", it seems like it's actually just a remake of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, considering that game was SMB2 & SMB1 combined with a few new levels(not saying it's a bad thing, since that concept inherently rocks!). Those two games are mentioned separately for marketing, I'd assume.

That'd likely mean the minigames would be combined and have levels from both games while still being considered just 12; Games like Monkey Target and Golf would have a two "versions" like in Deluxe.

Huh, looks like updated old levels? Seems like it'll be a sort of "best-of" from the original two games(or perhaps another Monkey Ball Deluxe deal and have ALL of the old levels and minigames)

I guess Sonic Mania has really given Sega a new perspective for looking back on a fan-favorite series. Even has Mania in the title lol

Super nice! The gameplay and movement looks so spot on, I honestly think they had to have pulled some code and animation directly from the original Wii game lol

Also, wondering what they'll use the other screen for. Galaxy's level design structure wouldn't really work with a map, like it did in Mario 64 DS.

It's possible that they thought Link should stay left-handed throughout the game even with the motion controls, but decided to flip the game as an afterthought of working better with right-handed people.

Also, the way Link can both swing his sword and hold it out while running for the first time in any Zelda game seems to support the motion control theory as well, since it does make things more convenient for people swinging the Wii remote around too much, but it's a bit of a stretch.

I guess the point is the theory is interesting and could explain more things about the games made during the Gamecube-to-Wii transition.
