I really did not find the game all that hard. I used Mario (duh) Rabbit Luigi and Rabbit Peach pretty much the whole game. Focused on mobility. Used honey property weapons on all but rabbit Luigi who used vampire. Was a very sturdy team. Lots of defense/healing powers.
Kinda sad that when I reply the game it will be easier, but I guess other combinations of characters were harder. Idk.
I stopped using my Pokemon Go Plus because I kept running out of pokeballs. Even though I was walking at a 1 mile walking path with like 10 pokestops I got so few normal pokeballs that I never had any. This rendered the entire device rather pointless. Shortly later I stopped playing altogether as when exercising I didn't want to constantly look at my phone, and I wasn't high enough level to take any gyms.
I want to be able to stock up on candy and items and catch things rather passively while exercising, then when not exercising I could play it for real. The Pokemon Go Plus failed to work for this use since, as I said, regular pokeballs proved too uncommon (I had stupid numbers of the higher quality ones though). If this also can only use basic pokeballs then it is pointless as pressing the button when the Go Plus vibrates was not hard. Also, I liked the feedback that it was working. I was still doing something when using it.
@electrolite77 I'm having difficulty finding clear info on software tie rates for each system. I'm seeing a lot of say Wii in one year and then PS3 in a different year making the numbers useless for comparison. Fine though, I retract the claim that Wii had a low attach rate. It was a side comment I made, and not the core point of my post.
I maintain that selling 80,000 copies generating around $800,000 is not good news when the company had 35 employees spend 6 months on it. The 3ds sales will hopefully make up for it, but sales on the Switch so far are poor. As I said estimating an average salary of $40,000 a year salaries for the 6 months would be $700,000 then throw in all the other expenses. BTW if you Google it the average salary is higher then 40k a year. I'm being conservative.
@cleveland124 Wii is a really bad example. It has terrible attach rates because tons of casual people bought the system, 2 games and then nothing ever again. The average Wii owner had less games then the PS3, 360, or like any other modern system that wasn't a complete flop.
@Cosats I live in the USA. In the USA the minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, or like $15,000 a year. I don't know where you live or how you are calculating things, but if my numbers were even 3x too high then the employee wouldn't even be making minimum wage let alone if they are 5x too high. I don't know anything about Japanese salary amounts, (I assume it was made in Japan) but as it's a wealthy Nation I assume the programmers are paid reasonable amounts.
80,000 sales sounds really bad to me. At $10 a copy that is $800,000 (different regions have different pricing, but let's keep the math simple). Let's say that the average salary for the 35 workers is $40,000 a year. With six months work that means that $700,000 went to salaries alone. Then factor in expenses like rent, taxes, marketing, Nintendo's eShop fee, etc.
There is no way the game has made any money yet. It is still in the red.
Or we can look at attach rate. There are probably around 3 million Switches in the wild now. So 80,000 sales gives it less then 3% attach rate. Also not good.

What are you taking about? There has been no new footage of that game since it's failed Kickstarter like 3 years ago. It is vaporware and will never actually exist as a game.
I don't see any evidence that he is still involved in the industry in any meaningful way. He is nothing more then a bull.
The new game is clearly called Noisia and it obviously comes out in 493 days. Everything else is a red herring. Also, anyone who doesn't realize this or tries to dispute it in anyway is an idiot.
I don't feel its necessary to pick one or the other. A hybrid is a legitimate thing.
That said, with a gun to my head I would pick handheld. All of its limiting factors are dictated by its handheld aspects rather then by its home console aspects.
Most particle use of it is to let you know how much ammo you have. In Splatoon, for example, the rumble feeling could decrease as you run out of ink. At first all the triggers rumble, then less and less rumble as you runout. Or as a duration timer. Sticking with Splatoon as an example, you have items like the Sprinkler where you throw it and walk away while it works. If you throw another sprinkler the first one disappears. So, using the hd rumble could give you a sense of how much duration is left in the item.
I know my suggestions don't alter gameplay in any real way, but rumble was never meant to. It was just meant to add an extra layer of immersion and i don't think hd rumble is any different. Its best use will be a tiny increase in immersion. IDK how much its adding to the cost of the controllers, but I assume it isn't much.
1. Difficulty choices. That way I can have the game be hard and other younger or more casual people can have it easy. If they want hard mode to be hidden behind a code like reseting your game then fine, but hard mode is by far my most wanted feature.
2. There should be 0 overlap in pokemon between the two versions. There are like 720 pokemon or something. Split them in half and each version has 360. That is the only way to make trading meaningful again now that we can trade over the internet.
3. HMs gone
4. Pokemon should be more unique. Right now one fire pokemon is much like the next. Pokemon need more flushed out unique abilities or powers.

@Slim1999 I did not say it flopped. Reread what I wrote.
