The Switch is Nintendo's return to form! ..sure, there are some teething issues that need addressing - but I'm very, very happy with my purchase so far!
There's a lot to look forward to in the coming months too! Personally, I'm really looking forward to:
-MK8 Deluxe next month ...I didn't have the WiiU version, so it'll be like a brand new Mario Kart for me!
-E3 ...we're sure to see some big reveals from Nintendo - I wonder what they've been keeping up their sleeves?!
-Nindies ...I must say, the Nindie Showcase kinda took my by surprise - Overcooked!, The Escapists 2 and Stardew Valley all look like 'must buys' to me! - and plenty of others are on my watchlist on the back of that video!
Personally, I have noticed that my left Joy-Con drops out momentarily every now and again - the issue isn't too serious, but it certainly requires attention.
"Online multiplayer makes a return, allowing for up to two local racers to get involved in 12-player races with others around the world"
..anyone know how this will work? The last Mario Kart I played was MK-Wii, where Player 1 would receive an online ranking, but Player 2 was just an unranked 'Guest'...will both players be ranked in MK8 Deluxe? ..what was it like on the Wii U version?
Any info would be greatly appreciated! So excited to get karting again next month!!
Hope it's fixed - communication isn't exactly Nintendo's strong point, unfortunately!
From what I've read online, the issue seems to occur when the Joy-Con's (left, in particular) are being held like Wii Remotes - when they are attached to the central console, in the Grip, or being held sideways, they seem to function much better...
...certain games (eg. some 1-2-Switch mini-games) require players to hold the Joy-Con like you would a Wii Remote though - so hopefully this has been/will be patched soon!

Slight Joy-Con sync issues, other than that - I'm delighted! ..the future looks bright too - can't wait for MK8 Deluxe next month!

Re: Have You Seen The Hidden Message Inside Your Switch Pro Controller?
So cool!
..I'm pretty happy with my Grip to be honest - but I'll certainly consider investing in a Pro when I download some 2D Nindie/VC titles
