Re: Tomonobu Itagaki on Why Devil's Third Underperformed

Naisho

I bought it pretty cheap, and Im still enjoying the campaign, cause I still havent finished it. But I never played online mode, and sadly never will, cause I dont wanna play it on PC... yeah, for those who doesnt know, the online mode should be available on PC... at least in Japan.

Anyway, its a simple game and Im having fun with it. I do like combat system, boss fights are awesome, difficulty is good... Even my friend said that he dont understand these reviews.

When Im playing it... I have fun. - Mission accomplished.

But some polishing of the game would be fine... I was somehow disappointed that the main character doesnt have some stronger personality. He could be awesome if he had some good puns and calls, but nope... he is rather quiet.

Definitely could be better, but I like this game.

@BornInNorway81 Go and play Lost Reavers. Devils Third is pretty solid in comparison.

Re: Video: This Studio Ghibli-Inspired Zelda Trailer Is Just Too Perfect

Naisho

Studio Ghibli does a fantastic job at animation in their movies, they did draw plenty of frames for character movement and all... and it looks always gorgeous, this doesnt come even close to that.

But yes, I do like these backgrounds and it goes really well with that music... it was interesting to watch... but that Link...

Re: The Xbox One Might Be Getting A NES Emulator

Naisho

If I want to play Nintendo games, I should buy Nintendo console? Ok, but this is how it works in reality...

I did bought Wii U... I did bought Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), and I was pretty disappointed how pixelated it looks on my HDTV.

If I got an emulator for free, and pirated ISO for free, and played it on my PC with antialiasing and enhanced resolution... It would look much better...

This is just not fair...

Oh, and about this NES on Xbone... I totally dont agree with this! If this was allowed, they could just go and create Wii emulator for Xbone or PS4. Its f*cked up.

Re: Updated Nintendo Patent For Modular, Customisable Control Options Gives Another Spin on NX Reports

Naisho

So, NX will start a new era with collectible buttons? If I want to switch a weapon in an FPS, I will need to unplug and plug correct buttons?
If we will be choosing a character in SSBB, we will have bunch of d-pads, and every d-pad will be a different character?

Definitely a new way of playing games. This will be era of collecting and trading with nintendo buttons!

Just joking.
Anyway... I somehow dont like a direction where this is going... but yeah, its just a patent... I would be happy, if they just expanded on the Wii U concept.

Re: Fresh Nintendo Patents Reinforce Concept of NX Featuring Detachable Controllers

Naisho

This is my guess. And yes, I posted it also on supermetaldave video.

It will be 3 devices. Imagine Wii U cradle, but bigger and more complex - this will be the dock (an actual part of the console) with main computing device in it.
Now imagine 2nd device - the Wii U gamepad (with additional computing device in it) in docked state in this dock - this will be your NX in home console state. Now you can unplug the controller sides from right and left, and add it to some other hardware (3rd device), which will create classic gamepad for your home console gaming. And thats it.

But that also means - no Breath of the Wild in ultra graphics on the go, because if you are out, you will have only gamepad with you, and that will be like 40% of computing power, so there will be something like "lower graphics mode" for all games.

Also... There were these opinions about screen on the Wii U gamepad, that it takes your attention from the TV - which is true in this sense, so I dont think that Nintendo will return to this gaming concept. - thats why, you will have classic gamepad, and your remaining screen will be docked beside the TV.

Im not sure what exactly will be displayed on this screen while you are playing on your TV, but I think there is a potential for something. - Maybe it could work as notifier? If you receive a message it will show big letter on that screen? Who knows? And maybe Im completely wrong...
