With my two New Leaf towns, all my houses were decorated with trees and stuff weeks before Toy Day. With New Horizons, the Toy Day items only became available at the last minute.
I had 24 sections of a simple wooden fence stored in one character's inventory. I went to make make more but there was no recipe. I checked me other character, same thing, no recipe. After the 1.5.1 update, the recipe appeared in Resident Services and both characters got it.
It's like the Japanese saying of "The standing nail gets hammered down" has been applied to New Horizons. You have to conform. It took a while to get a 5 star rating, and I lost it twice
Back in the 1980s, Franklin Computers sold clones of the Apple 2 and the IBM PC. I had the IBM PC clone. It was the weirdest architecture, the motherboard was a card that plugged into the main bus. The video card went and it cost $300 for a new one. Apple sued Franklin and they got out of the clone business. My first eReader in 2000 was the eBookman by Franklin, and it had very little available in the way eBooks.
Isabelle has told me three days in a row my town has too many trees. Residents are getting lost on their way home and miss their favorite TV shows. Trees will be coming down as I've planted lots of cherry and apple trees which are worth more than the native pear trees.
After playing New Leaf for two years with two towns and seven playable characters, I simply love the upgrades in New Horizons. Why do people have to attack things?

This is so cool, I just started doing rivers and cliffs yesterday. A narrow space in a river allows your character to jump over it.
