Free pokemon is always good. Guess it'll help if anyone wants to RP being a Star Grunt.

Same as with my DS: keep it for ease of trading between pokemon games, and as a backup for if the "Switch 2" ever breaks.
Plus, it's the special Pikachu & Eevee pattern, so I'd never want to get rid of it even if it stopped working.

@Luigi05 Been a while so not 100% sure but I remember some scenes of kissing were cut in Dragon's Race to the Edge, as was a bit where a child is slapped in Ronja the Robber's Daughter.
Dragonball Super and Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai apparently had loads of edits too, though I haven't watched those so can't vouch for them personally.

Yay, finally! Though it's unfortunate that it's CBBC, since they often censor random parts of kids shows... Hopefully nothing will be cut from this.

Maybe it made them feel more special for those people who got them. All I saw was being barred from my 2nd and 3rd favourite mons all because they didn't want to do a wifi event.

In person events for gift pokemon need to die. I'm so happy most of the event gifts have moved over to Wifi now.

How dare you call the 2DS ugly! It's beautiful! No awkward hinge between the screens, nice big shoulder buttons, no marks on the side of the top screen from the rim digging in while closed. Perfection.

The only way I'd buy an all-digital console is if that was the only option. (for example, the Steam Deck) Though if the option is there then all the better. More choices can only be a good thing, like the Switch Lite. I'll never buy one, but for the people who only want a handheld it's the better option.

Would be interested if I didn't already have 5. Wish they'd do like steam sometimes does where if you have part of a bundle already then they take the price of the items you already own off.

OK, pokemon Bank and redownloading digital games were my main worries, but it seems those will still be safe for now.
Ending online play sucks, and games like Tri-Force Heroes and Splatoon will be practically unplayable now. Hopefully they'll get ports to the Switch 2...

If piracy is the reason to not have backwards compatibility, then as soon as the switch2 is cracked, they've shot themselves in the foot long term.
If they want to sell the same games again on the new console then it's pure greed.
Old Playstation games can be played on Sony's new console. So can Xbox on Microsoft's. So can PC. Imagine if a new model of the Steam deck required you to rebuy all your steam games to run on it. If nintendo has no backwards compatibility at this point then it'll really hurt their sales.
