Dunno but performance mode seems even more important in multiplayer, like if you play with others or against others, and everyone is 60fps and you just 30fps, this is brutal disadvantage.

Yeah but they can lower details, resolution and make 40fps mode. Everyone is just hella lazy these days, Nintendo included

I just recommend to wait for Switch 3, this one is a mess

I sometimes forget how some Nintendo gamers are behind in terms of tech and what they experienced in gaming.

Even Duke Nukem 3D in year 1991 was 60fps. On PC 120fps is the minimum now.

Why the hell people would need to "get used to it". Its shooter game, playing shooter games in 30fps is terrible.

Just cut the graphics to hell or dont release at all if you cant optimize.

There is this thing called "knowledge" that some people enjoy to acquire in life.

People who say that Steam Deck should not be compared to Switch are literally ignorant and intentionally trying to prevent any kind of discussion abount anything.

Steam Deck is not "gaming laptop", people buy it to play games in handheld and Steam OS is created to be easy to use gaming console interface, not computer. Its literally portable gaming console.

Switch is handheld portable gaming console too, a bit more restricted because its not modded yet (will be for sure), but its the same thing as Steam Deck for 99% of end-users.

Its like saying you cant compare SUV car to SEDAN car because they are different things, no, they are both cars for the same kind of people and they are doing the same thing. You might not like one or another but it doesnt change anything.

Just watched full walktrough, game looks boring as hell, would rather spend this 80 euro on burgers.

I see on youtube it takes 8 hours to complete, perfectly fine IMO. Maybe 10-12 hours would be ideal but 8 hours is great. Just not my type of game, still looks like Minecraft wannabe to me.

Im gaming since early 90s, joined multiple communities on the way but never seen anything like this. People are genuinly upset that game got 9 and not 10 What kind of toddler logic is that?

1. games reviews are subjective by design, just like books or movies reviews
2. review score has nothing to do with your own enjoyment, literally nothing
3. playing games with low scores is not a sin, some people actually only play low scored games to avoid popular overhyped games
4. nobody cares or is judging you for what games you play

Ocarina of Time was nothing special in 1998, you just didnt read bad comments about it because not everyone was on internet back then.

Games like e.g. Half-Life on PC were butter smooth, much better looking and interesting.

The problem is that Nintendo fandom is basically unable to discuss anything. Having a proper discussion is a skill that you learn in primary school yet most Nintendo fanboys lack it.

Being against something is not "an attack", its called "having opinion", but somehow some people think that the only way to live a life is to praise Nintendo. Its absolutely insane, bordering on some kind of mental ilness.

The most important rule of law in basically any country in the world is that person who is not reposible for crime cant be punished for said crime. Buying used game is not a crime, then why is Nintendo punishing wrong people?

And about Steam, people love Steam because they are extremely user friendly. Steam does not take away your games, have sales all the time, free saves backups, zero problems with returns and Gabe kept saying that even if they go bakrupt one day the plan is to make all games DRM free so you still own them even when service is out. I am Steam user from day 1 (Half Life 2) and its absolutely pleasure to use it.

Imagine Steam bricking your computer, they would be eaten alive, yet when Nintendo is doing that they are praised.

Do USA citizens know that its nothing but smokescreen for their other problems? There are like 15 other websites with exactly same stuff + torrents + russian forums.

I mean they had years to work on it, they are first party developer that has access to everything nintendo is preparing and we knew about Switch 2 chip since at least 2021.

They are in charge of everything, design, tech, engine.

There is simply no excuse, seems like they just have no experience with “big” games.

Depends what “perfectly playable” means to you. Input lag that is twice higher than original hardware and more than twice higher than other emulators (yes dolphin is actually faster than original hardware) seems making it not worth it.

We prioritize earnings and low production costs.

Nintendo basically invented VIRUS that will slowly brick all consoles of users who enjoy used games

This is pretty brave, cant recall any company doing that before

This is extra annoying in Europe because of non-existent Nintendo Support here (last time i contacted Nintendo Germany they generated case id and told me to contact Nintendo USA with that case id, Nintendo USA support told me they cant talk to me because my account is not american and im not located in USA)

Absolutely you are 100% right man.

If someone has legit unmodified console and buys legit unmodified games then its his RIGHT to be protected by consumer rights.

If Nintendo cant figure out how to fix holes in their own system they created and instead is punishing legit users then they should be sued to hell because its balant anti-consumer practice.

People pay money for games, people deserve to have consumer rights.

If nintendo cant figure out own systems then selling used cartridges should be just banned and considered illegal to protect consumer from losing money.

I currently have two Switch OLEDs with over 150 games and i think this was my last Nintendo console. I cant see anything good coming from Switch 2 generation when Nintendo is lately being completely ridiculous over and over yet fanbase is defending them.
