@GX_64 the app is lame, yes, but it’s not required to use. Just ignore it and enjoy the controller.

@MrBlacky why not? My 6 yr old loved the original and it's easy to play.

I don't know, 03:30 looking to avoid that stick to get to the face buttons. Of course, probably feels different in the hands but that's my concern.

@Pichuka97 I feel there are still many folks who don't know about Nintendo's refurbished store. The 2DS is there for $50, systems are restored to practically new condition, and have full warranty.

Not worth your time. I've purchased a couple Atgame handheld and the build quality is terrible. Also their mega drive sound emulation is bad.

It's sucks people lost out on their 3DSs, but at least Best Buy is giving some thing back. I remember when I preordered Tommo Neo Geo X and it it was later discovered they were out of stock, they gave me 100 in credit.

@Pokefanmum82 I could never get into OoT, but gave it a shot on the 3DS - didn't get too far (I remember meeting rock creatures and getting stuck). Link Between Worlds was fantastic, but then my 3DS and game were stolen so that sucked Ended picking up a refurb Zelda XL from the nintendo store and couldn't be happier, interested in seeing how MM plays out.

@Palutena I've purchased two Nintendo refurb XL's from Nintendo's online store, regular black and the Zelda limited addition, and can say they're practically new. If you want to jump on board the 3DS library, take a look at their online store, save money purchasing directly from them, still get a one year, and receive a system in immaculate condition - now is a great time.

3D ... as in rendered in polygons? No thanks, I prefer the 2D art style. The 3DS is obviously very capable of rendering console visuals, but the developers want to keep the Castle of Illusion look.

That's a damn shame, because the game is just amazing. What about the CPP controls don't you like? I find they work well and replicate a real console controller layout.

Honestly, game "manuals" like SM3DL are perfectly fine with me. What's the point of being "Eco-friendly" with the game case if you're going to waste paper and print a needless manual. The digital manuals included with most games are more than enough (and more convenient) for folks living in the 21st century.

Just give me a 3DS bundle cart full of Neo Geo goodness and a snap-on mini joystick for my dpad and call it a day.

My wife got me SM3DL bundled 3DS (and the Sony Wireless Stereo Headphones for BF3). I then picked up Pilotwings & Nintendogs + Cats for $5 a piece. Also picked up Zelda OoT & Mario Kart 7. Loving the 3DS (bought the Nyko battery pack; 8 hrs of wifi gaming), I definitely underestimated it (despite adoring my DSi). Looks like I'll be plenty busy this following month, since I'll be out of the country for vacation - woohoo!

The free app isn't a game, so how could it be FUN??? Though I do think it's pretty neat being able to "file" your medical history.

I'm so glad I have the gray brick. I picked it up about 3 months ago from a thrift store for only five smackers. Looked like crap when I got it (was missing lens to the screen). After some deep cleaning and a new screen, my Gameboy looks gorgeous! Great read, btw

i just downloaded MM2 and I've instantly fallen in love with it! this is only my 5th VC game i've downloaded. i do hope they release the Sunsoft's original Batman on the NES! Thanks VC-Reviews, for all the insightful info; that way i dont waste precious wii-points.
