@CoderChild You will find that alot of the users on this site are terrible at playing games. I mean just look at all the hate that the awesome Sonic Lost World got because they can't figure stuff out themselves without being held by the hand or thrown infinite lives... I would try out this game if it was on Wii U as I don't play the underwhelming 3DS anymore
@JustinH Because I have found that the majority of gamers on our earth have terrible taste in games... Even the staff and users on NL are rather questionable to say the least
It's time for people to stop playing crud like NES Remix and start supporting 3rd party and indie developers... We didn't buy a WiiU to play a chopped up VC casual game that should have been released 30 years ago
The main problem is these companies want to make games on MicroSony consoles for the money but end up flopping and sometimes closing their doors anyway... Third party decisions these days can be rather questionable no matter what choice they make
Cool, Cult County is the only 3DS game I have been looking forward to since it was announced... Hopefully we get a remake of Dementium 1 + 2 and Moon with CPP support (that thing is hidden amongst the dust and cobwebs)
I was looking forward to some Cult County 3DS survival horror but it looks like it might be put on the back burner or canned... MH 4 is the only game to look forward to on the underwhelming 3DS and it might not even come to the west but I would prefer a game like that on Wii U anyway
I would like to thank the Wii U Gamepad for bestowing the ability to pause my games, check-out NL, place a GIF from my bookmark page then go back to playing my games as quick as a flash
@hcfwesker Yeah, Knytt Underground is awesome indie stuff. Chapter 1 & 2 is like a tutorial then chapter 3 is the main event on a massive map full of platforming, puzzles, NPCs, side quests and item collecting... The atmosphere in this masterpiece is bloody good
I remember midway through 2013 everyone was whining about too much Mario with click bait doom articles and battle of the nerds forum threads... Now that another game is getting high praise and hailed as the king we can expect more of the same old Mario 10 times a year
We are living in a society where people are just too lazy to read. Don't go down the lame Podcast path NL... Stick to your guns and just keep rollin' how you roll
I don't really need to mention those because I just assume that everyone already knows. Also I have found that NL staff and other users generally have bad taste in games... Especially the MicroSony defence force
2013 was all about the WiiU for the MAB while the 3DS took a extended back seat because of all the kiddie games like ACNL and Pokemans mixed with those crappy overrated (not as good as 16-Bit era) JRPGs... Next year is looking extremely bare-bones for the handheld which for something that has sold well it still doesn't have any third party support
Next year will be all about WiiU and it's stellar first party and indie awesomeness mixed with a few third party offerings
The reality is people should be blaming Pokebank for being a pointless extra piece of junk thrown to the lamoids for a quick cash grab... I can't wait for the inevitable news article and comments about the servers exploding and everyones stored Pokemon is targeted for termination
25th of December 2013 will be recognized as that day crappy Pokemon stole Xmas... Except for the MAB's Xmas because I could still download stuff and access Miiverse but I prefered drinking alcohol and feeding my face with family and friends anyway
They're better off bringing the awesome Mega Drive franchises back so those Nintendites and MicroSony fanboys that turned their nose up at SEGA back in the day can experience the awesomeness that they missed out on... Like what @Morph and the MAB suggested
Star odyssey
Beggar Prince
The Legend of Wukong
But they're very lucky that they get to try this soon ↓
@Morph TBH I think those good old arcade/Saturn/Dreamcast days are over for SEGA when it comes to releasing all those awesome games you mentioned... Nintendo fanboys won't buy them so it will only sell to a few of us ultimate advanced hardcore gamers
@PrincessSugoi the first two chapters are short just to get the player into the flow of the mechanics of the game then the third chapter is the massive open map packed with side quests, collectables, puzzles, NPCs and sarcastic fairies with loose lips and bad language... The atmosphere alone in this awesome indie masterpiece is worth 9.5/10.
@element187 easy on up there mate. It's not the moby's fault he wasted cash on new MicroSony consoles with below average games they have to pretend to enjoy through the holidays... I mean every time they power on the PSBOX41 could be their last
Remember how I captured a RROD and combined this phenomenon with a BPLOD...
Well, further analysis concluded that this common occurrence can happen as quickly as a flash
MAB update: I'm still playing the games I downloaded 2 days ago while all this moaning was occurring... My advice would be to download Knytt Underground then thank me later

Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
@ToxieDogg When you do get it you will be awesomed
Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
But I thought Nintendo gamers only cared about gameplay not graphics
Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
The difference is that this was funded by Nintendo with all highly inflated proceeds going to Nintendo

Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
@Einherjar Until you play Knytt then your tune will change for the greater good of everything that is awesome
Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
@Einherjar Actually, you will find Knytt Underground is far more challenging and awesome... I don't do dudebro
Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
I am too busy playing better Wii U games to care
Re: Review: Wipeout: Create & Crash (Wii U)
Of course a game with giant balls would get a high score

Re: Review: Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot (3DS eShop)
Nothing will ever beat Cloudberry Kingdom... Nothing
Re: Talking Point: Is The Castlevania Series Finished With Nintendo?
Castlevania was always a crappy franchise from NES to now... I will never forgive Konami for what they did to the Silent Hill series though

I feel honoured that Australia is considered part of the European eShop sector... Look at all these awesome games and sales we get to enjoy

Re: Game of the Year: Nintendo Life Readers' Awards 2013
Of course I was one of the peops that voted for the awesome and more hardcore Sonic Lost World
Re: Cliff Bleszinski Seems Pretty Pleased With Nintendo's Willingness To Put Fun First
Re: Game of the Year: Nintendo Life's Staff Awards 2013
I know I played better games this year then what is highlighted in this list... Especially as far as the eShop only is concerned
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th December and 2nd January (Europe)

This is like so last week man!
I suggest if anybody likes Metroidvania type games then download Knytt Underground on WiiU... MAB has forsaken it 9.5/10

Re: Matters Of Import: Welcome To The Bizarre World Of Namco's Numan Athletics
@Damo Nah, I like SNK NEO GEO and they still have better classics to release yet... But this game should be sent to the fires of hell
Re: Matters Of Import: Welcome To The Bizarre World Of Namco's Numan Athletics
Looks like someone barfed on a massive pile of poop then kicked it at the Wii... What an abomination

Some serious WALL O TEXT goin' on

Re: Sega Looking To Bring More Free-To-Play Titles To The 3DS
Why buy when you can play4free
Re: Nintendo Network Services Now Starting to "Operate Normally"
Come on now, honestly those Pokebank servers should really be used for something else more substantial... Like thousands of VC games or something

@Morph With ATLUS back under their wing I'm hoping for a Mega Drive 3D classic or totally new ↓
Whatever they do together will be gold

SEGA is taking more steps towards a total eShop DIGITAL 4 LYFE takeover

Anyway, back to the game I go yo
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
I recommend Knytt Underground on WiiU if you're into obscure Metroidvania type games with mature themes
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
@IceClimbers I put down the 700 place holder while I checked through my Gamepad link book... There you go
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
300 comments to go... Let's keep this party rollin' baby

Re: Notch "Not Aware of Any Plans" for Minecraft on Wii U
I will just continue playing better games then

@Barbiegurl777 Yeah, the joke is on them because it will probably sell better than the games they like
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
@SparkOfSpirit I think you might need a cream for that problem
