I just want to know… do parties with friends work properly now? I haven’t had time to watch videos, sadly. Can I join a team with 3 friends and consistently be on the same team? The only way to do this previously was during Splatfests.

@sixrings Nintendo is a far better company than EA or Activision - I’d go as far to say EA and Activision are the two WORST video game producers, in that order. Also, read the other comments on this post - it actually seems like it may not sell well unless Nintendo addresses some of these issues.

Nintendo needs to explain WHY people need this if they already have Splatoon 2. I own most 1st party switch games, but this one will be a stretch if the multiplayer functionality hasn’t greatly improved.

@Joeynator3000 The Wii U I can understand - almost all first party games have been recreated on Switch and barely anyone even had a Wii U to begin with (Expect me once upon a time). That said, the 3DS store being taken down is a DAMN shame!

@Anti-Matter Franklin will be back. All of the Holiday related NPCs have remained the same. They've already showed his face, along with Jack's and Jingle's when talking about Holiday events. Franklin is the man! I can't stand the thought of replacement! If he was replaced... we know why... ☹

Definitely should have waited another month to write this article and add Animal Crossing as the pinnacle of the article... probably would have been an easier article to write. That's just my 2 cents, though.

We've waited SO long for this. I want a general direct, too, guys... But let us AC fans have this one. We have literally waited a year and a half just since the game was announced... AC fans deserve this direct!

@Spudtendo I've remained loyal to Nintendo/Gamefreak through all of this during the Sword/Shield dilemna, but this? This is simply unacceptable. This should have been provided with the game from the start, no doubt.

@DrDaisy I think you'll enjoy NH. It's looking a lot better than the past 2 or 3 games. It should have some emulation games included, hopefullythis time without a mandated amiibo.

@Investor9872 I feel like releasing a Switch Pro anytime this year will be overshadowed by the PS5 and XSX. I'd love to get a Switch Pro and would accept it with open arms - but financially, for Nintendo as a business, I just don't think it makes sense. I'm thinking Summer/Fall 2021?

@Investor9872 No, no. I mean the Switch Pro. I know ghe PS5 and XSX will be out by the end of November. I just don't think we'll get a Switch Pro until 2021.

When Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out, they're going to sell so many consoles. It'll really help the Switch Lite out. Further, if they release a Switch Pro, it will help sales even more. That'll help them get some recurring customers like myself that bought a Switch on release day in '17 and are ready for an upgrade anyways. Personally, I don't think a Pro is coming until late 2021, but when it does, it'll sell very well assuming it is a substantial upgrade.

@Smashfan502 Resetti is still going to be in the game - just not in the same fashion. That was confirmed months ago.

This is looking to be the best Animal Crossing entry yet... and we truthfully don't even know much about it yet! 52 days!

New screenshots always welcome! That said, some of these look familiar 🤔. Oh well, I'm not complaining - I'll take anything I can get ACNH ahead of the inevitable direct coming up!

@Kalmaro If you're from the states I believe there will be one coming to Florida in the coming years. That should make it, somewhat, more affordable if you're in the continental US.

I'd love to go! I went to Disney World as a child and as cool as it was, I couldn't help but imagine something even more important to me; a world full of Nintendo. They're finally making that childhood dream come true. Kudos to you Nintendo! You can bet that if/when I have a child I'll be taking them for this experience!
