@moodycat Not everyone has the time/resources to emulate. A lot of people would just rather pay and save themselves the effort. Plus, if we can play them through legal means that also support the developers, then it's a win for everyone

We would still need to see PS Platinum's lineup. It sounds like the best deal. Tbf, Expansion Pack is cheap but the games it offers are simply not worth it for the price. If it has more games then yes

I only preorder games I know will run out at my store and I really want to play them Day 1. Latest preorder I made was Elden Ring, mostly because I wanted the Collectors edition. generally, I don't preorder. Worst game I've preordered is TLOU2, so I haven't been burned too bad

Seems like if you want AC on the go, the Steam Deck is your best bet

I only use the app with ACNH to track turnips. Other than that, the app is not good. It's main feature, the voice chat, is abysmal and very low quality to the point where you're better off using Discord or literally just calling your friends. They should take notes from the PS app. Add a store feature, make it so you can see your captures and basically have it be a second screen

@NintendoEternity NSO has it's share of problems as well. The price is ridiculous for the small amount of games they offer and performance is not the best, which is embarrassing when N64 emulation was perfected years ago by fans. PSNow on the other hand offers hundreds of great games, however the fact that they are streamed is unfortunate and your experience will depend on your interned speed. Also, let's not pretend PSNow doesn't have amazing games

Then Nintendo has the audacity to get angry at people who emulate games. Nintendo should either provide an alternate and affordable way for players to play classic games or stop being such [redacted]

Unless they offer more games for more consoles, this is just overpriced. In the future, if this has GBC, GBA, GC, and Wii games, then it's definitely worth it. There's a huge demand for classic games and if Nintendo can provide an easy and affordable way to satisfy that market, that would be a big win for them AND for the consumers

While Mario Strikers and Switch Sports looked really good, most things showed were either ports or remasters. If all you have is a Switch, then these probably we're a good announcement for you, but if you already have another console or a PC, then odds are you probably played these on their or you're not interested in them

Don't know why people are complaining about the Dpad placement. If you need to use the buttons, you move your thumb to the side instead of down. And if you're playing a 2D game, your hand stays in the same position. Seems logical. Plus, there's the touch pads to consider

@NintendoEternity No see, cause you asked what WERE some good games on the PS2. The fact that they are on other consoles now is irrelevant. The PS2 did have good games back in the day, if you didn't play them back then, or they didn't appeal to you, that sounds like a YOU problem

@gloom I assume you're referring just getting into the menu, because actually loading into a game takes a while, especially when you compare it to the PS5 and New Xbox
