@20 GAME is always dissapointing. Despite the success of the DS it seems to cater more for the other consoles, with only the "shovelware" type stuff making it to the DS section. At least in my local branch.
It's a shame that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn did so badly, I'm playing through it now and it has inspired me to buy the previous two in the series. It's also a tad worrying that Okamiden hasn't got much pre-release support. That's one of my most anticipated DS games in it's lifetime. I have to say though, I did rather think this would happen. Despite the promises from Nintendo saying they would continue the DS into the 3DS' lifetime it doesn't make a difference if shops and suchlike won't sell its games. It's a bit early to cook up a line of memeberance for the DS as I think it has still got a year left to perfect its back catalogue, so I'll save that for later.
Well, I'll be getting Street Fighter and Pilotwings. I was really hoping for Paper Mario but if it's better because of the delay then so be it. On the bright side it means it will give my money stash time to recover. Not that I would have had any spare cash at all but...
I'm going to wait until it arrives on my doorstep so the 3D is completely new to me. That's how it's always been with my Nintendo consoles. ...Nostlagia...
Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing (assuming it's brings something new to the table), Metal Gear Solid and Star Fox for me please. So...that's basically everything here apart from the Samurai one.
Well, from my perspective I've got to worry about whether my parents will let me spend that kind of dosh on it in the first place. If they DO let me, then I've got to worry myself about whether I'M willing to spend that kind of dosh. So, it's going through two filtering processes. In comparison, when the DS came out my parents had no quarms about dishing out for one. The same even applies to the Wii. All that stuff about VAT and whatnot doesn't make much of a difference when you look at it from my angle. It doesn't matter whether it's a fair price economically or what have you, it's just a question of what your reaction is when you see the price. It's either something along the lines of "Gordon Bennett! That's shockingly expensive! Not going to by one of those." Or "Hm. That price isn't too shabby, I'll slap down my bank notes for that!" For the most part, it seems like the reaction is the Gordon Bennett one (including myself) so a small-ish price drop should come along sooner rather than later. I hope so, because if I get one now, I'm not going to be able to get ANYTHING else at all, that's all my money gone for the rest of the year.
Fortunately, from what I've seen the games are roughly the same price so I've still got a mental battle on my hands...(should I get it? Or should I not?)
Goldensun wasn't even a runner up? And neither was Goldeneye? For the people in Europe KEY hasn't even come out yet so I think Goldeneye should have at least got a mention.
Well, I've never used screen protectors or anything like that and the screen on my Dslite is fine. On the other hand my friend accuses me of the dead pixels on his ds when I borrowed it. Apparently, I was getting a touch too angry with Pokemon diamond or something. A case might be useful but the probability of me ever buying one is pretty slim.
Tri was alright. I played it at a friends house but it didn't entice me enough to buy it for myself. I can see a portable version appealing more though, for some reason.
Will import the american version probably, never bought a DSi so I don't need to worry about region locks and whatnot. Everyone seems to be going for the otter so perhaps I'll choose the snake...
I would have to say: Goldeneye online multiplayer with pals OR NSMB multiplayer with pals or the end of a level in SMG2 where you're swimming in an underwater cavern and then surface onto a patch of grassland with some trees and the sunset. I just liked that for some reason.
I was a tad dissapointed by Brawl to be honest. It didn't draw me in as Melee did. The characters didn't have the same weight as they did in Melee. When you KO'd somebody you felt a wave of satisfaction which for some reason was lacking in Brawl. I thought the stages weren't very good either. Not sure why. The Subspace Emissiary was good though.
I realised yesterday that I hadn't actually finished Pandoras box so I spent the whole of today playing it so I could finish it and thus buy the new one. I hope the plot for the new one is a bit better not that P's box was bad.

I can only hope that Okamiden lives up to this monumentally great game

Re: Inazuma Eleven Looking to Score in Europe on Friday
This reminds me of a plotline in an episode of Pokemon which somehow manages to incorporate football.
Re: European 3DS Launch Line-up Close to Being Finalised
I'll be happy with just Paper Mario (although that seems like a long shot), I've still got plenty of DS games to play.

Also, this game is stupendous. Super Paper Mario was dissapointing.

I'd wager they'll sort out the resolution....I hope so at least.
Then again, I have always wanted a GB Micro.
