It made me think. So here's what I thought.

Its perfectly reasonable, looking at the current library, to suggest the Wii U enjoys strong third party support. Yes, It's easy to list games that won't be on the platform. But the Wii U library does have AAA third party games, some exclusive to the platform, both released and announced.

There's a worry that future releases will dry up and Nintendo isn't being aggressive in securing development for the platform. Yet there is evidence, in Bayonetta 2 and Ninja Gaiden, that Nintendo are using there financial muscle to get core games on the system.

The complaints about Nintendo's own software, is personal really. I can't say I want what he wants. But what I would say is, with Pikmin, Mario Kart U, 3D Mario, Smash Bros and Zelda U, due relatively soon. There's room for plenty of surprises yet.

Thats all the points I could pick up.

Interesting that Disney are 'really excited'. I guess they think a videogame could get people interested in DuckTales again.

Someone needs to call the people who own Battletoads.

I've seen videos of drones being controlled by 360 pads. And I've read reports that describe the use of wii remotes with robotic bomb disarmers.

I don't know the mechanics behind whale hunting in AC because I have no interest in the series.

But this leads me to question, do PETA actually know that the game glorifies whale hunting? Or are they just throwing about knee jerk accusations?

This demo actually made me a little anxious about the final product. The touch screen level is sooooo flat and lacks any real challenge. Worried about how these levels fit in with the rest of the single player campaign.

Nintendo will never be able to take on Smart TV, in the long run. But its a nice feature for 2013, all the same

I'm pretty sure that the GamePad will make the Wii U version of Madden the best of the bunch....next year...

I echo the comments that this game needs wii remote pointer controls. I will be very disappointed if you can only play this with the GamePad.

I'm hoping that the revamped zapper, with the GamePad attachment, is used on this game.

Before the Internet existed, and discounting Digitiser, you had to actually buy magazines to get reviews...publisher sponsorship was a much bigger problem. There are too many reviews available nowadays for this to be an issue.

Tekken is a game that I would prefer as a download, just so its on the dashboard for instant play. So the news that it's on the eshop makes me happy

But remember how, on the Wii, if a game was saved on a SD card, you needed the empty blocks on the system equal to the size of the game to be able to launch it....will basic Wii U owners even be able to launch Tekken?

P.S. If you're paying £32 for Tekken, you haven't been looking hard enough...

Maybe, just maybe...this is a warning to people who think its a controller for the Wii...I'm not so sure that it says you cant use it to play Wii games on the Wii U.

Bit.Trip: is the type of game I'd expect to see in an art exhibition. And is worth 600 points for the experience alone. That said, this is a game for the hardcore....

Back in the day, I loved top down, single screen racers. I'm a little concerned thats there's only 12 tracks, although 'meteorite' mode sounds like it could add sommat extra to the mix

I hate those cardboard sleeves. My copy of Smash Bros came with one. It's so pretty that to avoid wearing it out, I dont keep the plastic case in it. I avoid them now, so I don't end up with a draw full of cardboard.

I was one of those people who let out a great big sigh when this was announced.... Now I cant wait for it to be released.
And they've sorted out the terrible audio...thank goodness. Excite Truck has some of the worst videogame music I've ever heard.

Up to a few days ago, I hadn't bought this (cos of the block size, cant be bothered with all this SD card transfer crap) What a mistake, it really is one of the best games of last year. No doubt.

I've only played the 'proper' game once. I just use the chill out mode..
