Re: Nintendo's History With Playing Cards Directly Influenced The Switch

That's the problem, @Anti-Matter, the Switch feels too expensive for that potential future, at least for now. I really hope they take risks with the pricing like they did for 3ds back then. Yeah, sell at a loss, not their favorite strategy, but I don't want Nintendo's (possibly) last hurrah on the console stage to be as middling as it looks to be at present.

At this point, I'm not even considering pre-ordering. Besides the obvious hassle it looks like it will be to find a retailer with available stock, 300$ with no game just isn't going to cut it for me, Ninty.
I can only dream of a sort of Smash/Splat redux with Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey for Christmas. If you do that, Nintendo, I would gladly pay you 350$.
Until then, I'm happy with my Wii U

Re: Fans "Shouldn't Assume" That The Nintendo Switch Reveal Trailer Features "Actual Game Footage"

I think people are missing that a lot of these games are pretty much guaranteed to happen... Zelda, New Mario, skyrim (that shush from Bethesda speaks measures). Its not like wii u where The trailer was a bunch of small little games. These are big titles, and I don't think Nintendo would show a remaster of a five year old game that isn't even theirs without actually having it in development.

That is to say, IF that Skyrim remaster doesn't come at launch: the only way it wouldn't come to Switch? If it flops terribly.
