Re: Hideki Kamiya Slaps Down Demands For Nintendo Switch Exclusive Astral Chain On PS4

ImperiumRegalis

Sure, there is a high demand for Astral Chain for PS4, it's a great game after all

but-and I mean a big BUT-

what about the great games that are PS4 exclusive and are NEVER going to come to the Nintendo Switch? So if that's the case why can't there be Nintendo Switch exclusive games as well? The same way you have to buy a PS4 or XBox to play games exclusive to those consoles, go by a Nintendo Switch to play Nintendo Switch exclusive games. I'm not be unreasonable- I'm being Factual.

As for me, I always loved- and still love- Portable Gaming Consoles. I never owned a PS4 or XBox and have no regrets neither no plans in ever getting them. Portable Gaming All-The-Way!!! ^.^

Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver deserve their spots as number 1. Coolest feature of all time: Walk and interact with your Pokemon! And it had a great story and content too! I even feel like buying them again!

I love Pokemon, and always will but yeah, tell me when an official Pokemon Game with a challenge, a challenging rival, revival of the MANY features that have been stripped off each generation, like Pokemon Contests and Pokemon Amie Mini Games for example, and most importantly when ALL the Pokemon return. I will SURELY support the next Pokemon that includes these things by then. For the time being, however, I'll stick to Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon.

On a side note; GameFreak, you don't solve the 'Balance Issue' by removing Pokemon like Thano's Snap. You instead 'Adjust' the stats for the weaker Pokemon to at least be on the same footing as the more powerful ones. Yes, I'm talking to you one of my favourite Dark Types Lepardas/Liepard. No worries, one day you'll be able to face your Rival Mooland/Stoutland on equal footing. One day...
I mean, sure...let's increase Stoutland's Base Attack from Generation VI onwards and give NO boost whatsoever to that poor cat in the Dark. Dogs are MUCH better, am I right? >.> Stereotypical

Re: Poll: Have You Played The Dragon Quest XI S Demo On Nintendo Switch Yet?

ImperiumRegalis

RPGs have never been my thing with the exception of Pokemon and Digimon. And Pokemon AT LEAST after all these finally went and continue going in the right direction of finally allowing you to create your VERY OWN character. I hope Digimon does that too one day but I highly doubt it. Dragon Quest XI looks nice and all but I won't even be able to reach quarter way thinking I was playing as someone else who isn't me. I went ahead and bought Xenoblade Chronicles: Torna the The Golden Country, and despite it's vibrancy and cool features and story, I just couldn't get totally into it and as a result I'm only as far as when you reach to the first Harbor after you find out the female Main Character's village has been destroyed. Nonetheless, to those who plan to buy the game, enjoy yourselves ^.^. As for me....Looking Forward to Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina WOO!!!

Just began playing this and loving it! I need to try and get used to the combos and controls but beside that, love it! Especially I can use my own custom-made character! Awesomesauce!

@Yorumi An idea I have for Combat is that;
1. Engage Pokemon in the Wild
2. Transitions into a certain amount of space where you control the first Party Pokemon you send out
3. Use combos and skills based on move set, etc.
4. In Double Battles you send out two with one being the AI but maybe you can switch between them, maybe. Same applies for Triple Battles.

My concept is actually based off on Final Fantasy Duodecim, Pokken Tournament DX and even a bit of Monster Hunter Stories as well where you can use your 'Monsties' to use various skills in the open field as well as being land, air and water mounts. A mix of the three.

P.S To add to the twist you can also be able to choose what battle style you prefer in the Options Menu; Traditional (Standard) Style where you battle as Turn-based as most previous Pokemon games or choose Free (Open) Style where you play controlling your Pokemon's movement, attacks etc.

That way everyone can have fun using what they feel most comfortable with. These two styles can be applied to Online Room Battles as well.

Also, though I have no plans of buying the Pokemon Go games for Nintendo Switch I must commend that being able to use the Controller (s) to throw a Pokeball is a nice little feature which can be implemented in the upcoming Pokemon Switch game. Again you can have the option to play the Standard way or the Controller way.

And now I'm going to end it here because I suspect I may just continue on and on, already I'm typing this after work! XD

Psssttt And throw in some Pokemon NFC Cards too! wink wink Poof

I would HIGHLY appreciate such a game. It would really make you feel like you're in a Pokemon World having a grand adventure...no boundaries....Open-World Style. Please make it happen!!! And it would be nice if an app is added on the Eshop to be able to transfer all your Pokemon from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon from the 3DS to the new Pokemon Nintendo Switch game; like how Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate save data on 3DS could be transfered to the Nintendo Switch version. Just a thought.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

ImperiumRegalis

It's a HUGE improvement from the 3DS version but may not appeal to those who are already in the PS4 Era. It's a great game nonetheless and I am really enjoying the Nintendo Switch. It's a great console to me due to being able to play it as both in Docked and Undocked Mode. Anyway, the controls are much better on the Nintendo Switch compared to playing on the 3DS and as a result I'm not only enjoying Monster Hunter Generations with only enhanced graphics, but also 'Ultimate' added content and controls.
For me this is a 10/10 and the amount of positive reviews and Youtube videos on it proves that.
