@Coalescence This. It’s so bizarre to me that people gate keep difficult games… the original Hollow Knight is one of my favourite games and I had a blast without accessibility options. But… I’m also aware I’m not the only person on this planet… there are people that need accessibility options in order to play games ie. people with disabilities.
If I were a developer, I’d want as many people as possible to enjoy my art. Adding accessibility options helps with that.
So many good memories with this franchise. I remember playing THPS 1 on the N64 at friends house in high school. I still remember hearing the intro to Police Truck looping over and over and thinking his cartridge was broken. I had the Dreamcast version at home and didn’t realize the shortened tracks were due to the limitations of the cartridge. Still had a blast with the N64 version, though.
@Chowdaire I see it more as if the store advertised an item as free and then willingly gave it to you for free (even giving you a receipt with it). And then sending you an email to tell you they made a mistake and want the item back. I don’t own the game or expansion so I’m not affected by this. This is just the way I see it.
The price was always too high for this game, but I jumped on it one of the few times it went on sale digitally. It kind of blows me away how well SF II holds up after these years mechanically. The updated visuals is the reason I play it over the various SF II versions in the 30th Anniversary collection (I'm so used to a bulkier Sagat, haha). Hopefully the game comes back to the US store and Capcom celebrates with a big sale!
