Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Makes Bold Move with the 3DS

HanuKwanzMasBif

I think I'm getting Yoshi's Island. >D
But seriously, this is somewhat worrisome. I can understand a price drop in November or even October, but now, so early on in the system's life, does not bode well. I was thinking Nintendo would get by on the 3DS, because I'm confident the Wii U will be a failure. So this could be close to the GCN's case, except instead of the huge success of Game Boy Advance, we get a commercial flop.

Re: Talking Point: The GBA Games You Want on 3DS Virtual Console

HanuKwanzMasBif

Miyamoto said he wanted a certain SNES Zelda game to be on the 3DS... so maybe the Link to the Past port will be there. Just a thought.
Maybe Sonic Advance...
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is the second best (next to Dragon Quest IX) game, if not the best game I've ever played, so I'll be showing up at Reggie's doorstep begging him.
They already have Yoshi's Island, so I'm out of ideas.
EDIT: I forgot Minish Cap! I want a sea of Zelda games on this system!

Re: 3DS Mario Titles Land in November and December

HanuKwanzMasBif

I'm fond of the titles... Mario Kart 7 especially - that would look great in the font they showed.
EDIT: I just read the rest of the comments, and WHY DOES NEARLY EVERYONE HATE MARIO KART 7? WHAT'S WRONG WITH A LITTLE VARIATION, PEOPLE? Now, they definitely shouldn't do it again, because this is one of the things that distinguishes the game from others - each one is supposed to have something different about it. I'm hoping for no bikes, ever again. But airplanes and/or hovercrafts like Rare did would be AWESOME!
And yes, it could be infinitely better if they were Roman numerals.
and mario kart 3d is a terrible title. period.

Re: If Fans Speak Up, Majora's Mask 3DS Might Happen

HanuKwanzMasBif

I'd say we have a 50/50 chance of this being made. Maybe even more!
MM happened to be the first Zelda game that was made when Aonuma was crowned "leader of Zelda projects" (or something like that. So Aonuma would definitely like to make a remake, for nostalgia and nitpicking.
I've never played Majora's Mask, but Ocarina of Time is great and Ocarina of Time 3D is greater.

Re: Hands On: Netflix for 3DS

HanuKwanzMasBif

I got it minutes after it came out... I've watched the King of the Hill pilot, 2 episodes of Mythbusters, an episode of the unfortunately short lived American version of Creature Comforts, an episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the second episode of The (American) Office, and three minutes of Fellowship of the ring (it would've been more, but I'm trying to hold back until I finish the book. roughly 170 more pages to go...)

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)

HanuKwanzMasBif

Got it on the 29th... it's amazing. I have the VC version, I could never get past the second dungeon (still the hardest yet, I'm at the end of the Forest Temple right now. Jabu was a little challenging, but short.). The graphics upgrades feel like it's what Nintendo really meant when the original was released. I'm a wimpy gamer, I love the Sheikah Stones. This is gonna be the first game I beat! (yes, I have never beaten a game before)

Re: Review: Inchworm Animation (DSiWare)

HanuKwanzMasBif

If it had sound, I wouldn't wait for a second. Yes, I know about exporting to a computer, but with animation you're supposed to create the sound first. I'm thinking about getting it to keep me satisfied until Flipnote 3DS.

Re: Iwata: "We Must Continue to Combat Negative 3D Rumours"

HanuKwanzMasBif

I've never had any problems due to the 3D. I get just as much eyestrain as I do when I'm playing any video games, 2D or 3D, and I quite often accidentally go over the recommended 30 minutes. If Nintendo had not marketed the 3D as much, and maybe given it a different name, this never would've happened.

Re: Super Mario 3DS Has More Thrills, Less Exploration

HanuKwanzMasBif

I loved Mario 64 (only played DS version, sadly, although I assume they are essentially the same, with the addition of Luigi, Yoshi, etc.) for the exploration elements. The huge hub was great, and messing around there was easily one of the best things about the game. I like both methods of Mario, but when I want to buy a 3D Mario platformer, I want to buy a 3D Mario platformer, not some expanded Super Mario Bros. 3. (although the SMB3 elements are looking good)

Re: Rumour: Nintendo to Reveal New Zelda Game at E3

HanuKwanzMasBif

We have two Zeldas coming out this year alone (unless Skyward Sword is delayed, because that's what Nintendo loves to do). One was announced and one might as well have just been announced last year. Extremely unlikely, really...
WIND WAKER REMAKE, I'M BEGGING YOU I'LL DO ANYTHING!!

Re: Review: Dead or Alive: Dimensions (3DS)

HanuKwanzMasBif

@KrazyBean Bust-a-Move Universe is overpriced but surprisingly fun, and the 3D works quite well. Or maybe you should just wait until June 7th, there'll be some interesting games available then no doubt. If that doesn't satisfy you, Zelda: OoT 3D is being released on June 19th and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D on June 28th. Just have a little patience, fine fellow.

Re: A Dragon Quest Collection for Wii Draws Near!

HanuKwanzMasBif

Gooses, geeses
I want my geese to lay gold eggs for easter
At least a hundred a day
And by the way

I want a feast
I want a bean feast
Cream buns and doughnuts
And fruitcake with no nuts
So good you could go nuts

No, now

I want a ball
I want a party
Pink macaroons
And a million balloons
And performing baboons and
Give it to me now

I want the world
I want the whole world
I want to lock it
All up in my pocket
It's my bar of chocolate
Give it to me now

I want today
I want tomorrow
I want to wear 'em
Like braids in my hair and
I don't want to share 'em

I want a party with roomfuls of laughter
Ten thousand tons of ice cream
And if I don't get the things I am after
I'm going to scream

I want the works
I want the whole works
Presents and prizes
And sweets and surprises
Of all shapes and sizes

And now

Don't care how, I want it now
Don't care how, I want it now

Re: Super Mario 3D to Use 3DS Gyro Sensor

HanuKwanzMasBif

I tried out Face Raiders and Augmented Reality at my friend's house and I could keep my head at the correct angle with the screen pretty consistently. I think it's because of playing too much WarioWare: Twisted. Whoopee!

Re: New Elements Planned for Mario Kart on the 3DS

HanuKwanzMasBif

I like the items. It's really satisfying when you win a race by a hair through a perfect blend of maneuvering and item manipulation. For instance, I think in MKDS you can see when someone gets a blue shell. Say you're ahead by a few feet. Brake for a second so that your two biggest threats overcome you. The two of them are most likely gonna be head to head, so when one gets blasted the other also gets affected. When you drive through the fading explosion onto the finish line that's one of the best feelings in video games.

Re: Nintendo Expected Higher 3DS Sales

HanuKwanzMasBif

@outrun2sp Actually, it's been going out and in for about 60 years now. It was "in" in the 1950's, then mostly out in the 60's, then in in the late 70's, out in the late 80's and early 90's, then in in the late 90's and early 2000's, then back in around late 2008. I think it might stick around this time though: two moderately successful video game consoles (PS3 and 3DS) are doing it now, there are 3DTV's, a new 3D tablet computer, 3D movies up the censored and new methods of 3D.

Re: Nintendo Confirms New Console

HanuKwanzMasBif

SERIOUSLY
well, as long as it's confirmed, let's think of titles. Because of all this information that's been "leaked," let's call it the Liik. Plus, that's the perfect successor name to the Wii. Untitled
