I had so much fun playing this game that once I got into it the load times didn't really bother me. Use them as a toilet break or something and just enjoy the game if you haven't already.
Man, the voice acting is terrible in this game and Zelda's voice annoys me the most. So she should pay for it! Hahaha I'm also pretty upset that Beedle doesn't say "ooooooooooohhhhhhhh" anymore. The mixing is also atrocious. One line you can hear perfectly and the next line just disappears into the background. I'd prefer they just went back to the noises. I think it gives them more personality that way.
Since red is my favourite I love that change. I think the topic headers or whatever you call them should be in a red box like on the photos and when you click on an article. Or make the text of those topic headers smaller. They're too dominant. It looks a bit too clean/boring as is. But I'm a print designer so I guess it's just my opinion vs a professional web designers work.
@Sakura I wonder if you'll be able to do that? I get the feeling Nintendo might do something stupid like lock the eShop to your country or something. Just my thoughts, though.
@WeeManStudios Yeah, you're probably right. It was only those 2 elements that reminded me of it. This looks like it mixes quite a few different genres that I really like playing.
The auto acceleration and the enclosed track design remind me of Speed X 3D which I bought in the early days of the 3DS. I really enjoyed that game so I will have to check this out.
@thesilverbrick Well, there you go. I didn't even know a lot of those games had those functions in them. Admittedly, it's been a long time since I played all of those games.
@thesilverbrick It's funny you say that about the Gamecube games. I didn't even realise it had analog triggers on those controllers and I finished all those games just fine. I used to just press them in as hard as I could and it wasn't a big problem.
I really want to get a Switch ASAP but the $470 it costs here in Australia is too much. I understand the Aussie Dollar isn't worth a lot these days and it's supposed to drop more but I would've thought $430 like the Deluxe Wii U price would've been a better starting point. Games have gone up to $100 (like before the Wii) so it's $570 just to get started. That's way too rich for me so I'll have to wait until there's a good deal going on like when I bought my Wii U.
I was pretty excited for the Switch after seeing the presentation. I thought 1 2 Switch looked like it could be a fun pack-in game and ARMS looked fun as well. But I also thought that ARMS should be part of a cheaper price point like Toads Treasure Tracker or something like that. Some of the features seemed pretty cool as well and there were quite a few games I definitely want to play.
Then I saw the Australian RRP this morning of $469.95 and now I'm not keen at all. They're going to have to take about AU$100 of that price before I even consider it. I can see the launch being like the 3DS where they're going to have to drop the price within 6months to a year.

Re: Feature: 20 Games That Aren't On The SNES Classic Mini, But Really Should Be
I would buy it just for Unirally if these games were also on the SNES Mini. Had so much fun with that game as a kid.
Re: Multiple Supply Choke Points To Blame For Switch Stock Situation, Says Nintendo
@Kez_muffin I'm in Australia and would love a Switch. I can't afford it, though. It's way out of my price range as it is.

Re: Gallery: Here's How Nintendo Switch Game Cards Compare To Practically Everything Else
@Tempestryke Totally agree! You could cut these cases in half and it would still be too big for the game card. Such a waste of resources.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Countdown - The Origins and Simple Magic of Snipperclips
@Sakura Ah, fair enough. Could be worse, you could be in Australia and have to pay $100 per game.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Countdown - The Origins and Simple Magic of Snipperclips
@Sakura This was the last line of the first paragraph: "Still listed for March without a precise date, its US price looks set to be $19.99."
That looks like a pretty good price for it.

I don't get why the cases are so big when there's just a small cart inside. What a waste of resources!

Both versions are still available for pre order at EB Games here in Australia. $469.95 if you're interested.
