I can finally play this game! Listen up everyone: BUY THIS. If millions of us get this game we could potentially get Mother 3 and even a mother 2 1/2! Because I have a feeling it will get pulled like Mother 1 did from the Wii (Yes mother 1 did come out for virtual console on the wii, but it was pulled. I saw it on there a long time ago and disregarded it but when I went back to check it wasn't there anymore. Don't believe me? Go to the wii shop channel and search for virtual console games and start typing mother, a search suggestion will pop up.) SO PLEASE BUY THIS GAME BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS FROM THE ESHOP!

@Ernest_The_Crab actually from what I saw its 360 smooth movement with the circle pad. Also we arn't using buttons. To swing your sword you have to manually hack away at the air with your 3DS while its closed. LOL JK.

@Melkaticox i'm serious. If this is a retail game I am not buying it. I doesn't deserve the resources to make those chips that you have to plug in for the game to play. Its perfectly capable of being an eShop exclusive I can tell. Do you really think nintendo would put a game this small on a game card? Really? Are you agains the eShop of something? Ya know, it looks a little bit like minish cap. I'm not too big a fan of the 3D artstyle put into a 2D game, but it works. This game better be eShop exclusive, I'm not paying 40 dollars for it. Also the Nintendo Direct was amazing last night. Like a giant glob of fan service, you all got what you wanted, EVEN EARTHBOUND!!!

@Eisenbolan 1. DK64 was developed by Rareware and nintendo is very reluctant to bring up any of their games due to their cautious nature.
2. Mario kart 64 was never re-released in the DS. We got mario kart DS. I've just about had it with all you morons.

@FOURSIDE_BOY no they do worse, much worse. They have very mainstream consumerist tastes and as such love games like call of duty but won't hesitate to find flaws in other games. Some of their reviews are just flat out wrong. They gave Metroid Prime Hunters a GOOD review. Terrible game btw dont get it. And are the kind to complain about one thing and the graphics over and over. They are terrible reviews who probably smoke weed as they type.

@JSuede XL. They are sturdier but you might want to opt for regular if you have tiny baby hands

@DaveGX shakes head I know gamefreak and they do not break traditions that easily. Besides how can i trust you when you've just called mew a pre-evo?! Mewtwo is a clone of Mew, in other word it actually has LESS capabilities than Mew. And besides the very sentence before the one you showed me says it has been confirmed as a new form, so just stop being a noob.

@Tasuki Majora isn't for everyone. I hated it when I first got it. "Wtf am I supposed to do??" The easiest way to enjoy the game is by readin a walkthrough every now and then

@theblackdragon i know. : P i used to watch it as a kid. Its just that the anime back in those days didn't feel so dumbed down. It felt original. Now its just some flashy FX. Still why can't we have pokemon appeal more to the teenagers? I could see where they were trying in B/W 2 (there were some blantent spaces for obvious implementation. They obviously wanted you to rewrite the dialouge a bit in some places for yourself. [remember Roxie cussing out her father with E approved swears... Lol] but I really think they should take it into their own hands to make a completely and wholy serious story. The black and white games were a good start but they need to push the envolope just that inch more.

@Onett don't fix what shouldn't be broken. The've tried to innovate, they gave us triple battles and rotation battles. What more do you want? The series to go into real-time? Just LEAVE THE FORMULA ALONE. The Devs know what is best for the game, you don't.

@sheld999 ask yourself this: what is the point? There is none. When if comes to clones, "failed expirement" is just the nice way to say "we made something, and it died in 20 seconds".

@DarkKirby i agree with you on all points except for the battle system. It has changed. I changes a bit in the 3rd Generation and made drastic improvements in the 4th. Now it has reached its perfect point. If you're asking for a different system then go play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Also removing IVs..... If you even comprehended what those are then you would not want them gone. They are like the cells of the game, you don't see them but they work very hard to keep the actual organism alive. And the game already has a little bit of balancing, but its not very good. I try not to look at it. Whether and seasons could be interesting though... Why not have a weather system that changes daily if you connected to wifi? Or just make it have percentage values. And make a weather channel on the tv!

@PokeNerd well, by trash i meant stuff them away. I have an old Blue cart I found somewhere and i play it every now and then for kicks and giggles. The only merit I can see to the 1st gen games is that you can use any pokemon you want, no randomized stats no overwhelming assortment of moves no breeding. But thats what cements the gen 1 games and even gen 2 as casual games. I didn't spend hours rummaging through an abandonty electrical plant looking for a Magnemite with the calm nature and the ability magnet pull, i just caught somethin and forgot about it. This is what makes first gen so barely decent by todays standards. Plus there isnt even a point in playing first and second gen anymore. You can't transfer your pokemon over and the games are seriously outdated. If you want to take a trek through Kanto again I suggest you play FireRed or LeafGreen. If you do something in those games it actually matters since you can migrate (if your normal DS hasn't broken yet) your pokemon over to your current gen games. So just don't act like the originals are golden because they arn't. There is NO reason to play them anymore. They have exceedingly better remakes. Any true pokemon pro who plays the game the way the gearhead devs planned for it to play (they made it to where it appeals to the hardcore players and the mindless children that play it) will tell you that Blue/Red/Green/Yellow/Silver/Gold/Crystal cartridges are USELESS. Gen 3 added natures and abilities which became staples of the game ever since. Gen 4 added the logical moveset which pinned wheather a move was special or phisical based on logic. All of the advancements have kept delicate balence with the game since 3rd gen. You can count 1st and 2nd gen as gamefreak's screwups before the genius gearheads took over. Everyone was mad they couldn't transfer their pokemon over the the 3rd gen games. This was the old gamefreak's fault; they screwed up the IV spread from the first game and ran with it to the second. We should be thankful that the new gamefreak fixed this major failure before we lost a lot more pokemon.

To clear up whether this pokemon is a new form or not lets look at the title of the movie it will debut in. This is the 16th movie and deals with a shiny genesect that knows extremespeed (yah i dont see the point in the movie either) with mewtwo battling against it for whatever reason. The movie is called Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens. The fact that the movie stars mewtwo and that the title of the movie is Mewtwo Awakens, this suggests that this is a new form, and not a new pokemon.

This pokemon looks like a good eeveelution. Looks to be flying type. Dont like the asymetry with the bow on the ear though

For all you guys out there still calling it Ninfia, the pokemon's US name is Sylveon. I not sure how this could be pronouced but im guessing one of two ways. [Sigh-lev-eon] which would point to it being a flying type (besides the extremely cryptic context clues. good job gamefreak) Or [Sil-vi-yon] The pronouciation of sil-vi-yon would point to the pokemon being a steel type, which i dont agree with. They should change the name a little to leave room for a steel eeveelution.

@PokeNerd dude you need to trash those silver/gold/crystal cartridges of yours and play HS/SS instead. Everyone knows that the cyndaquil line is blue.

@Bulbschubs99 Gamefreak has spent 9 mainstream Pokemon titles on the DS. NINE TITLES. In case you haven't noticed, it's time for them to move on if they don't want to alienate the majority of their customers.

@PokeNerd What else were they supposed to come up with? I agree the Vaniluxe line doesn't really make (I used one in my playthrough of black.... But then I ate it.) but you can just disregard it as canon, whereas garb odor actually makes a bit of sense.

I don't really think there is a point in bringing this game HD graphics, the cartoony artstyle has enabled it to age incredibly well so I don't see the point in this when they could be working on metroid primes 1 and 2 HD maybe even 3.

First of all the Wii U doesn't get GameCube compatibility because it doesn't need it, those disks of yours aren't going to last forever and Nintendo knows this, so they are going to port them over through VC. They know you will buy them because you are worried about your disks, more power to them! Disks are not going to last forever but digital does. Also people asking for games like SSBM or a Mario kart or party game need to shutup, Nintendo is not focused on remaking those, they are games that ADD with their next installment.
