As for this particular set though... It's a severe letdown. I was hoping for Bowser's Castle, Peach's Castle, Koopa Kid's Airship, Luigi's Mansion, Yoshi's Island, New Donk City, etc. Not to say this interactive set isn't neat, it's just not what your imagination would conjure up when you hear these two working together. They did say this isn't the only thing they've got though, and iirc they've been working together for a few years now so here's hoping.
@Heavyarms55 You ought to visit the LEGO site, new sets all the time and a good number of which you can't find in any store aside from an official LEGO B&M. In fact they just re-released an old pirate favorite that they basically "remastered". I usually spend about $300/mo on their website.
Except Phil, Matt, and Aaron all stayed Xbox will no longer have any exclusives, and it's been that way for 5 years now with zero indication of it changing. The Series X has zero exclusives, Microsoft is still a 3rd party at this point, and Phil now appears to be trying to backpedal. You've been too cocky these last 3 years Phil, all you care about is how many different ways you can make your fanbase pay for the same game yet another time with another subscription. You fool nobody but Xbox fans, and even they are finally getting smart to your false advertising, misdirection and blanket PR speak.
Just cut your losses, offer Xbox Live to all platforms, and enjoy the stress being lifted.
One of the many reasons I don't play any multiplayer; toxic communities. Even reading here people defending glitches and hacks to get the "perfect team". At that point why even bother? If you don't put the work in you've already lost. I'd rather battle with hard work and dedication than glitches and hacks, but then again I'm an honorable person. As for the topic at hand however, GF isn't like NextLevelGames, they'll have a patch out soon enough to fix it, unlike Luigi's Mansion 3 where 5 months in and thousands still can't play because of no inverted y axis....
@Incarta The article states they infringed on a patent from August... The Switch has been out since 2017. This is obviously an April Fool's joke, to which the only fool is the one who still celebrates the day. I didn't think anyone beyond the 5th grade was immature enough to paint themselves in this light.
Why wouldn't I be able to leave? I'm still shocked at the whole social distancing thing; get tf out there and build up your immunity. Most people already came in contact with the virus months ago and didn't even know it, stop destroying your economy by not working and staying home. If you all hole up, and the virus is lying in wait, wtf do you think will happen when they lift the quarantine and you get out there and start spreading it? We don't shut down for the flu, and that's worse.
@Judal27 Amiibo have never locked any meaningful content out of any game. At best you might get a weapon that was just barely above a starting weapons stats, but easily replaceable, or some money/item drops you could easily get with 5 minutes of exploration. To say what you did proves you never even bothered to understand what they were in the first place.
That is incredibly sad CoD and FIFA knocked it down. Oh well, one day these hobbyists will exit the gaming world when a new dad takes over their lives.
As we are a gaming family (and likewise if you are) we've had 2 Switches since launch and gameshare. Why a gaming family wouldn't have 2 is the bigger question here. If I'm being honest, I've tried getting an Animal Crossing Switch since the pre-orders opened so we were going to be a 3 Switch household.
It's actually better for everyone if you don't stay home, but let's all continue not using logic and blindly follow our government orders and keep hitting those panic buttons.
Regardless, I'd love to see Banjo back home and it's even more possible now with Microsoft taking Xbox 3rd party recently.
@bluemujika It is a Star Wars movie after all, you're lucky people can find a single good scene in any of the movies. The Pod racing sequence was the only one that didn't put me to sleep.
@NoTinderLife I more or less took 'mini' as an indication that it was simply a quickfire Direct whose sole intention was to get the ports and remasters out of the way so Nintendo could use a full Direct to focus on the new software they have coming for the latter half of the year.
We do know they've supposedly got a packed holiday, and it was obvious any Direct wouldn't have come before Animal Crossings release. Now we that and the ports out of the way, Nintendo can focus on the heavy hitters.
While the game certainly looks fun, and this is no slight to the developer but rather an issue with recent trends, the highly stylized art for the games "cover" has always been a serious letdown when the trailer/gameplay starts. If you're creating an 8-bit game, I feel the cover art should represent the era your game is modeled after and not feature some high resolution, clean artwork. It's misleading, especially when we have games that do end up representing the cover art.
Trivial I know, but just imagine how you'd feel if you saw something like the Dark Souls 3 cover art but it played and looked like Super Meat Boy.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Bringing Some Of Mario's Most Obscure Adventures To Switch Online
April 1st has to be the second worst day of the year, the absolute worst of course being on the 20th.
It is truly amazing that any adult would ever perpetuate April Fool's jokes. Can we finally being this day to an end?

@ShaiHulud With the overwhelming supply of new games, it's nice to have a port here and there. Remember it could be worse, you could be a Xbox fan.

@PickledKong64 I do, because it was a trash game that perpetuated bully culture and should have never been praised let alone made.
