@russell-marlow Because it’s just a game, it doesn’t matter. How is your viewpoint any different to what happened with Charlie Hepdo? People shouldn’t have to go round worrying about upsetting people because they believe in magic people in the sky. Rather than me doing research ,how about you grow up and stop believing in nonsense that people made up as if it’s real.
This is a far better list of games than I had on my SNES so I'm very pleased with it. It has a good balance of the games I played to death, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Zelda and Streetfighter as well as a lot of games that I never got round to playing. For me the NES mini was a novelty but I think I will actually play this a lot.
I really wanted a nes mini classic but I wasnt distraught that I couldnt get one (bought a tassimo machine instead). However I NEED this in my life badly. I've always regretted selling my snes and most of my favourite games are in this list. Add in the fact that I can play on my large TV in the living room without it looking rubbish and I am totally sold. Please dont stitch us up on stock Nintendo!
My big hope is that the Mario game is a spiritual successor to Mario 64. Couple that with splatoon as a pack in which will ensure loads of people are playing as well as zelda and mario kart and that is looking like an amazing line up. Chuck in the fact that I can play these games in my office, in bed and on the loo and Im a very happy ginger
@Claytonbob This is the major issue for me, I would like to buy it on day one but if it is not available anywhere other than on ebay for three times the price for two months I probably wont get round to buying it. I had cash in hand for the Nes mini classic over Christmas but they were nowhere to be found so I bought a Tassimo machine instead, I can't imagine I will bother buying one now. Same will be true of the switch if it is not readily available around the launch window.
@WiiLovePeace I think this makes perfect sense and if so free's Nintendo to focus on new games whilst delivering key franchise games for launch that a lot of new buyers will not have experienced.
@capitalism Everyone I know who games has more than one console. I have a ps4, a wii u, 360, ps3, PC and various versions of the 3ds and my sons have ps vitas. You are wrong I'm afraid.
I'm inclined to agree, I find the off screen gaming on the wii u the only gaming I do. I don't touch the PS4 purely because I prefer gaming on the handheld.
One of the main reasons I bought the wii u was to have classic N64 games to play again, have to say I've been quite disappointed by the presentation of them on the wii u. I know the N64 is getting on but as mentioned above the games look really washed out and grey. Not the loving nostalgia trip I was hoping for. On the plus side the wii u games are awesome.

Re: Review: Quake - The Definitive Version Of An Iconic, Flawless FPS
@russell-marlow Most people of rational mind do not go around looking to be offended by religious nonsense.
Games are fictional, as is religion, go find something else to be offended about.

If they have a Mario kart 8 switch version on launch coupled with zelda they are going to sell bucket loads

Brilliant, been looking forward to this.
Re: Analysts Weigh In On The Nintendo Switch Debate
@Tsusasi one of the most sensible posts I've seen regarding the switch. I don't understand why so many people don't get it.
Bravo.
Re: Analysts Weigh In On The Nintendo Switch Debate
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I think the message is very clear. There are loads of details left to hear but the message is home console gaming on the go. Simple.

I will be picking up wind waker HD, I've been undecided about whether to get that or Twilight Princess, but this solves the problem for me nicely!
