Mah. That thing was total garbage and other than the SMB 3 footage, the Wizard was awful. I hated that movie when I was a kid, and I would watch almost any crap back then (like my kids do now!)
I wonder about a crash, too. Games keep getting more expensive to make, and I still feel uncomfortable paying $60 for games. I almost never buy games when they first come out. And what happens to all these developers sinking big money into ps4 and xboxone when those systems sell as poorly as the Wii U?
I'd love to see a game like Sky rim. All the compass stuff, HP, etc would be on the gamepad, and maybe a dozen or so squares that you could tap like a hotkey. No more pausing the action to scroll through a huge list of weapons and spells, and nothing on your TV to block your view of the game.
Mega man 3 has always been my favorite. It's the one I had as a kid and still the only one I've completed. I could never get past that stupid dragon boss in Mega man 2, otherwise it would be my favorite.
It sucks that so many Wii U games got delayed, but I imagine the same thing will end up happening to Xbox1 and PS4. Obviously, I don't know crap about programming and whatnot, but it must take a huge amount of time to design the graphics. Either some of their launch titles will be delayed, or they will be awful, unplayable garbage.
No new dungeons? I don't see a $60 difference in the graphics. Why should I buy this? The boat goes faster, so what. I enjoyed the pace of the original. Certainly not enough here to convince me to shell out for a Wii U. But if they release it as a bundle with a golden Wii U...
@Funny_Moblin Don't stress! People are just excited. I don't even have a Wii U and I'm still mad that Ray man was delayed. We all have different reasons to complain or be excited. That's why video games are so great.
Does it really make a difference on battery life if you only use 1/2 the 3d? I always assumed that using it at all drained as much as full blast. Either way, the 3ds has to draw two screens.I think that's more of a battery killer.
@ron4540 That move would really hurt the chances of developers actually using the game pad for anything useful in a game. They can't have it do something necessary for game play if not everyone has one. While I'm still not entirely sold on the pad myself, Nintendo can't stop using it now.
If I based my list on time spent playing, it's Fire Emblem FTW! I've also wasted huge amounts of time collecting hats and puzzle pieces, and on a $5 sudoku download. I felt Mario 3d was too short to justify a #1. When I started clearing levels as fast as I could to be a good rival for spotpass people, I realized that some levels have almost nothing to them,
@Fazermint People are mad since it was supposed to be exclusive and already released. I've never been a Rayman fan, but I if I were, I would think twice about buying it because of what Ubisoft did. Gamers can't let them think they can push us around!
I got to play one when I was a kid. I remember being really excited about it. People complained about the red lights shining in their eyes, but it was much easier to see the game you were playing on a virtual boy than on the original game boy.
So many of you guys love Monster Hunter. Is the 3ds version better than on the Wii? I had it, and tried really hard to enjoy it. But I found it hard to control in the fights, and all the areas seemed small which led to watching a load screen every 5 seconds. Every time I played it, I thought about how I'd be having way more fun playing Skyrim. Even still, I'm tempted to try again...
@Einherjar Maybe you just haven't reached the right stage in your life! Wind Waker came out about the time my first son was born. He was a terrible sleeper and screamed a ton. I spent many hours of the night sailing the seas of Hyrule and rocking my son. It was so beautiful and peaceful and fun, it helped keep me sane with very little sleep! I didn't find it to be slow or boring.
@SethNintendo oh yeah! I always had better luck using one of the plastic sleeves that used to be on a SNES game. Nes cartridges where a little too thin.
I really don't understand why anyone would buy Xbox1 at launch. I know so many people whose 360's got RROD. That's part of the reason their numbers are so high this gen, each buyer actually bought two or three consoles. Don't people ever learn? You can't trust Microsoft to make a console that won't crap out. I've been a gamer since the 80's and I've NEVER had a Nintendo console quit on me, but to be fair it did become difficult to load games into my NES when it got old.
I hope they take out random encounters. How about you just see rustling grass moving along here and there? Then different Pokemon could have different types of movement, like some might run away as you approach. I just really loved Dragon Quest ix since you could usually avoid a battle if you were in a hurry or didn't want to waste time fighting weak enemies in an area you'd been through earlier.
Awesome! I used to love this show when I was a kid. I always wanted to see it again, but had no idea what it was called. I'm surprised it would become a video game, though.
