I just got into Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate a couple weeks ago and have already logged 40 hours...Capcom needs to work on another Monster Hunter game made specifically for the Wii U!
The thing about the Wii U is that it had an entire year on the market alone. This year was the year of the Wii U it was it's time to shine and show the world what it can do, but Nintendo squandered the opportunity. Most people still have no idea that it isn't just a peripheral. Games are just now starting to come out. Nintendo should have had these games ready to be launched early 2013. Oh well, I hope their games will pick up so I can hold off on getting a ps4 for another year or two.
@moomoo I'm just pissed that there weren't many games to play over the past year. I was excited to finally get back to a Nintendo console and was extremely disappointed. Lesson learned Nintendo. Lesson learned.
Do we get an ambassador program? Oh well. Market the thing like crazy and you might turn this console into a success. I still don't think I saw a commercial for the Wii u yet.
I have been really disappointed with the WiiU so far. I loved it at first and played it more than my PS3 for about 2 months. Then after the rose coloured goggles faded I was left with nothing. 1 decent game gets released once every 3 months and it is EXTREMELY frustrating. More so because I see the potential of the system. For now my WiiU is nothing more than a glorified emulator. I'm not sure what I expected with the wii u..but it definitely wasn't it. I look forward to picking up a PS4 at launch so I could play multiplats (I also really like Sony's exclusives). Looks like this console will be reserved for Nintendo only titles.
@Relias If you didn't play through the game then your opinion is irrelevant. I played through the game and I loved it. I believe the game was amazing and the majority agree. The game will definitely be a contender for GOTY and I'd be surprised if it didn't win many GOTY awards.
The Last of Us is an amazing game. If anyone owns a PS3 I cannot recommend the game enough. Look past the fact that it is not a Nintendo game, because everyone knows that you would giving all kinds of praise towards the game if it was.
If TLoU was a Nintendo exclusive rather than a Sony one I bet many people hating on the game would be singing a different tune. It's a great game, get over it.
