@Bluerangervegeta they are offering people like me the chance to play older games, some of which I’m enjoying for the first time without having to pay over the top on eBay for. If they’d brought back the VC, there would still be people complaining that they had to buy the games again etc. if you’ve already got them on your Wii vac, then play them on there. It’s my choice to pay for this service, a service they are offering not demanding you have for the console to actually work. You want the services, you gotta pay. I’ve not really noticed game functionality being locked out, I guess not being an online gamer as much doesn’t really bother me, but the service is there for me if I want it and pay for it

As much as I think it’s a given that a new Mario game will launch alongside; I would actually like to see a brand new IP launch with the console too. Yes, Nintendo have plenty of IPs they could use, but how many times do we need a port of a port etc. I want something new and unique , like the old days!

When I preordered skyward sword for switch, they sent me all the freebies and the steelbook, but not the game and the plastic game box! Took nearly a week to finally get my hands on it. I was given “reward points” as compo!

Enjoying it so far. There seems to be slow down on the Xbox version too I’ve noticed, the only thing I’ve noticed really is the graphical difference. Disappointed I’ve yet to find an online match though., on either console

I really enjoyed the movie and reviewed it for my YouTube channel. Tied me over until the Mario movie. Any film that features Nintendo is always a good movie!

As much as I am a huge n64 fan, and look forward to the futute updates, I’m also intrigued to see what future mega drive games come to the service. There’s a plethora of games out there I’d love to replay, and I just hope the MD service doesn’t go the route of the NES and SNES service and become an after thought.

@Poco_Lypso we’d probably still get legacy editions though even if Nintendo had the better hardware specs of all three companies
